Hi, I have my 1999 Porsche Boxster for sale in good condition with low miles, a clean title, no accidents, and a clean CarFax- the VIN # is WP0CA2983XU622691 if you would like to run the CarFax yourself. This Boxster has low miles, 39,783 to be exact, so this engine still has a long life ahead of it. The engine runs healthy, and has a lot of power with no leaks. The transmission of the car shifts smoothly, and the clutch grips hard. The interior is in extraordinary condition, especially for its age. The A/C blows cold and the leather seats look great. A cheap new LED light and shift boot could use replacement. The stereo also need a new fuse. The exterior of the car is also in good condition. There are some bumps and bruises, which I made pretty visible in the pictures. The hood could use a a tiny adjustment, but opens and closes with ease. The convertible top is in pristine condition, and looks just about new. The tires are great and are approximately at 80%.

Ferrari return to Le Mans looking more likely?
Wed, 18 Dec 2013Statements made by Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo may indicate that the Italian brand could return to a form of racing it's been absent from for 40 years - prototype racing. That's right, LMP1 could see a factory Ferrari team for the first time since 1973, if a report from ESPN F1 is to be believed.
"We have won with the 458 GTE, but I also quite like the idea of racing at Le Mans in the highest category: who knows, maybe one day we can return and win, say thanks and come home," Montezemolo said. "Maybe we should give it some consideration..."
These seemingly idle, off-hand comments might not hold much water, were rumors about Ferrari's return to prototype racing not swirling as recently as August. There's also the fact that the upcoming, 1.6-liter, turbocharged V6 being used for Formula One complies with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's own LMP1 regulations, according to ESPN. Finally, Ferrari returning to Le Mans might also explain this video of a camouflaged Ferrari LaFerrari testing a new turbocharged engine, which we showed you a few weeks back. There's a fair chance that what we're actually seeing in that video are the early stages of a new Ferrari prototype testing.
2014 Porsche 911 Targa
Tue, 15 Apr 2014I've watched the electro-hydraulic roof panel open and close about 73 times in the past hour, but its fascinatingly complicated operation still has me mesmerized. I've concluded that only a German automaker - Porsche, to be more specific - would go through the trouble of engineering a roof system that essentially lifts the entire greenhouse off a vehicle, rearranges its components like a sliding-tile puzzle, and then reassembles all of them seamlessly (sans roof panel) to accurately recreate one of its most famed bodystyles.
The 2014 Porsche 911 Targa is a near-perfect modern interpretation of the automaker's 1965 911 Targa, a semi-convertible bodystyle that represents nearly 13 percent of all 911 models sold since production started 50 years ago. While the early car's roof was purely manual in operation - that's the period-correct way of saying that the driver did all of the muscle work - today's Targa is a completely automated transformation that requires only that the driver hold down a cabin-mounted switch for a mere 19 seconds to let the captivating show run its course.
After studying the Targa's elaborate roof operation at its launch at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, I was sufficiently intrigued. To that end, I traveled one-third of the way around the planet to southern Italy, hoping that the Mediterranean climate would reveal a bit more about the reintroduction of the automaker's iconic sports car.
