Up for grabs is the baddest SUV to ever roam the earth. This is a 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Not a Cayenne S. Not a Cayenne Turbo. This is a Cayenne Turbo S. 520 horsepower at the crankshaft. From the factory. I am the third owner. It has 84,xxx miles. I have done all of the required maintenance to this point. I just had quite a bit done. - Spark plugs - 22 inch Porsche wheels - Parrot Asteroid Smart Android head unit with bluetooth - Professionally lowered by Auto Sport Werks - Fabspeed Precat eliminators - Professional window tint by 3M - Weathertech floor liners - Synthetic oil service (Motul) - Yokohama Parada Spec X 285/35R22 tires (less than 2,000 miles) - Valve cover gaskets This is the fastest, most reliable, best looking SUV I have ever owned. Unfortunately, I need a pickup and have a one vehicle limit from the boss (fiance). I just had it gone through by both the Porsche dealer and two indy shops in the area that specialize in Porsche. It needs nothing. You can fly out, pick it up, and drive it cross country.

New Porsche 4-cyl engines to range from 1.6L to 2.5L
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Recent rumors of a turbocharged, flat-four-engine from Porsche for the Boxster (pictured testing above), Cayman and maybe other models go back over a year. The latest scuttlebutt indicates that there could be three variants on the horizon with 1.6-, 2.0- and 2.5-liter displacements and power as high as 360 horsepower.
Car magazine in the UK claims to have access to the specifications for the project and thinks the 2.0- and 2.5-liter versions are guaranteed for production for the Boxster and Cayman. However, it believes a question mark still looms over the 210-hp 1.6L because the engine would go into a new, smaller sports car that still doesn't have a green light for production.
Regardless of displacement, the new fours would be turbocharged and direct-injected. The 2.0-liter would produce around 286 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque, and the 2.5-liter would make about 360 hp and 347 lb-ft. Earlier reports pegged some parts sharing with the current flat-six.

That's because, like McQueen and Newman, Dempsey has earned his place in that rarified field of actors who also race. He's competed in Baja and Grand-Am, co-owns an IndyCar team, and this year returned to Le Mans where he and his teammates Joe Foster and Patrick Long finished fourth in the GTE-Am class behind the wheel of their Porsche 911 RSR.

Jay Leno puts carbon fiber wheels to the test on a Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Thu, 04 Sep 2014Jay Leno's Garage usually focuses on looking at cars new and old, speaking to their owners and then Jay taking a drive to see what he thinks. However, Leno throws his usual shtick to the curb this week to do a full product test of the carbon fiber wheels from a company called Carbon Revolution. If you're not interested in hearing about wheels for 18 minutes, don't worry. They get mounted on a Porsche and are tested back-to-back with stock wheels, and Leno takes the 911 for a track test, too.
While carbon-fiber wheels aren't exactly a new idea, Carbon Revolution's goal is to create a lightweight, one-piece product that can be mass produced. The company even claims that it already has a deal with an OEM automaker to offer them on a vehicle in a few years. The key to the technology is that it doesn't need an expensive autoclave to be made.
In the meantime, the company's carbon fiber wheels are available as an aftermarket option for about $15,000 a set, according to the video. They weigh in at about 15.5 pounds each and offer OEM-levels of stiffness, so they could cut some unsprung mass off of a performance car.
