2014 Porsche Cayman S Hatchback 2-door 3.4l on 2040-cars
Westlake, Ohio, United States
Thank you for considering this 2014 Porsche Cayman S. This very low mileage Guards Red Cayman S is in as new condition and has all the performance choices that were offered by Porsche at the time of purchase. There are no flaws in the interior or the exterior. Since it was purchased it has been garaged each night and dust-covered. Of course the cover is included with your purchase. And regarding the paint; It is perfect and the front panels and the mirror housing are protected with the 3M Clear Bra Paint Protection System to assure years of 'chip free' driving. There are no surface irregularities on this car. In addition to the options listed above, there is a fully integrated radar system that includes shifters for both front and rear. In the event that you should ever need to travel a bit faster than the law allows, the Escort Passport 9500ci will not only warn you, but give you time to adjust. They call this the 'Mac Daddy' of radar detectors because it offers top protection from radar and lasers, front and rear. (If this is illegal in your state, the system is easily removed) We have priced this car to sell of course. It is a remarkable performance car, which you already know if you are seriously considering the purchase. The car is titled in my brothers name as I am selling it for him here on eBay. Please feel free to ask us any questions. |

Magnus Walker pops up again, this time with his Irish Green 911
Sun, 06 Oct 2013He was the subject of a short film called Urban Outlaw. He has been on Jay Leno's Garage. Twice. He even graced the cover of Road & Track in June. And after all of that, he appeared in a video by Hong Kong-based Silly Thing. So it isn't really surprising that Magnus Walker is at the center of attention in the latest video from XCAR, but it's surprising - and a treat - to see his mostly original Irish Green 1966 Porsche 911.
Powered by an air-cooled 2.0-liter flat six with 130 horsepower (more like 120 hp today, Walker says), riding on 5.5-inch wide wheels and turned with a wooden steering wheel, the little green 911 does represent some of the best aspects of classic car motoring.
Head on below to watch the long-form video on Walker and his Porsche, but if your time is limited, you're not missing much if you call it quits at five minutes - especially if you've seen his aforementioned videos before.
2015 Porsche Macan Turbo
Mon, 06 Jan 2014The misinformation first started back in May of 2007 - more than six years ago - when word came that Porsche was developing a compact utility vehicle to fill out its product line. Rumors swirled that the German automaker's future "Roxster" would be based on the then-upcoming Audi Q5. By September of 2010, the name had changed to "Cajun," but the vehicle was still expected to be "based heavily on the Audi Q5," said reports in the months that followed. One year later, the first test mules were spotted, the mechanics hidden beneath barely disguised Audi sheetmetal, which did nothing to give the upcoming model its own identity. And even after Porsche announced "Macan" as the vehicle's production name in early 2012, articles stated that it would "arrive on the same chassis as the Audi Q5, though with suspension, brake and engine tweaks suitable to the Porsche range."
It's no wonder that most still consider the all-new Porsche Macan nothing more than a heavily massaged Q5.
To help lift some of the mystery surrounding its latest release, Porsche hosted us in Germany for an in-depth look at its new crossover (while Europeans call it a "sport utility," its car platform allows us to call it a proper CUV). The technology workshop offered us insight to the design and mechanical execution, and it concluded with a short test ride. The trip was both enlightening and educational - and it left us with a whole new perspective on the Macan.
2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S is a 911 Turbo for the family man
Thu, 21 Nov 2013In the event that the Porsche Panamera Turbo's 520 horsepower and 189-mile-per-hour top speed aren't enough to sate the appetite of the speed freak, Porsche has just given the auto show debut to the faster, more powerful Panamera Turbo S.
With 570 horsepower being pumped from a 4.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V8, the Panamera Turbo S promises even faster acceleration, hitting 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, a 0.3-second improvement over the standard Turbo. The top speed, meanwhile, climbs to 192 mph, which is kind of ridiculous for a car with four doors and a trunk.
Other enhancements that come with this Panamera's extra syllable include carbon-ceramic brakes and the entirety of Porsche's active chassis systems, including Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control and Porsche Active Suspension Management. The performance goodies come standard, but that doesn't mean the Panamera Turbo S is cheap.
