Laramie Longhorn Package with canyon brown seats with stitching. Convenience Group which includes auto high and low beam, push button start, rain sense wipers, and proximity key Includes Sunroof, rear electric sliding window, heated and cooled seats Wheels are 22x12 Fuel Mavericks Tires are Nitto Mud Grappler 37x13.50x22 These are a little less than 1/2 tread. 10.5" Suspension Lift that includes BDS 8" Long arm with 2.5" Spacer In Front. Rear suspension is all One up offroad with traction bar assy. Has BDS dual steering stabilizer Truck has a BDS indexed transfer case for low angle on front driveline. Front driveline has been extended and custom built. Rear driveline is a one piece aluminum. Gear Ratio on the axles is 4.10 Truck has 2 Rockford 12" Subwoofers with Rockford 1000 watt amp Weather guard tool box also included in bed. *Dodge Oil change service contract good at any dodge dealer for 3 or 4 more oil changes. Watch the video that inspired Ram's Farmer Super Bowl commercial
Mon, 04 Feb 2013Chrysler may have the Super Bowl's most popular commercial for a third year in a row. Eminem and Eastwood helped it earn that distinction the last two years, and while Oprah did the voiceover for this year's Jeep ad, it's Chrysler's other spot that's in the running for Most Valuable Ad after the big game this year.
So where did the Ram brand's commercial about farmers come from? As it turns out, the ad appears to be inspired, shall we say, by a video produced by Farms.com that was uploaded to YouTube in June, 2011. Greg Mitchell of The Nation pointed out the similarities between the two in an article published this morning. The video uses the same speech given by famed radio broadcaster Paul Harvey played over a slideshow of farming images. It's the same concept as Ram's ad, though the truck brand did go out and commission its own images shot by very well-known photographers for its version.
Did Ram steal the idea? That does not appear to be the case. A message left on the Farms.com YouTube video says "Farms.com is pleased to be working with Ram Trucks and support the 'Farmer' Super Bowl commercial." When you play the video, a link even pops up to watch Ram's version.

On the HD front, Chrysler is boasting that its brand-new heavies will bring best-in-class towing, torque, payload and Gross Combined Weight Rating, but thus far, it's declining to cite what those figures are. For the moment, though, Fred Diaz, President and CEO of Ram told us at an Auburn Hills background event earlier this month that key towing and hauling metrics are poised for a substantial improvement. "And not just by a little bit. I think we're going to shock the world," said Diaz.
