Veterans Must Sell 2014 Ram 3500 Tradesman 4x4 Diesel Crew Cab ~5700 Miles on 2040-cars

US $44,955.00
Year:2014 Mileage:5687
Location:

Williston, North Dakota, United States

Williston, North Dakota, United States

We purchased this Truck to put Veterans to work in the Bakken Oil Fields.  We discovered that line of business was not as viable due to new regulatory rules.  We regrouped and decided to focus on our core business - placing Veterans at work in the Bakken Oil Fields.  We quickly came to the conclusion we no longer need this 1 ton Truck to haul a gooseneck trailer.

Which is a real shame as this Truck is fun to drive!  It has amazing power and passes every other truck going up the steep hills on either side of the Missouri River at T. Roosevelt National Park.

We have owned a F350 with the 7.3L engine and loved it.  But I have to admit this Cummins is better.

We have only driven this truck ~5,700 miles*

It is virtually new.

You simply cannot go wrong with this truck as it has the Dodge-Ram factory extended warranty for 100,000 miles.  To get this $57,000 MSRP truck for less than $45,000 is the bargain of the year.

WHY BUYING THIS TRUCK MATTERS:

We are selling this to fund our primary mission:  Put 5,000 Veterans to work in the next 5 years.  By purchasing this YOU will get an amazing deal AND will help us help thousands of Veterans who want to work.

1. You will win because you purchased an amazing vehicle at a steep discount to MSRP
(with all options and additions MSRP was ~ $57,000 at time of purchase)

2. The thousands of Veterans we will help work in The Bakken will win.

The funds we gain from selling this fine Truck will help us with expenses like advertising, software, improving our website, etc.  Your purchase of this Truck will directly help us help them.

It will help us put Vietnam-era Marines like R.D. to work so he can retire with peace of mind.

It will help us make sure Airman E.B.'s family has a "better Christmas than last year" because he could not afford a tree - much less presents or more than Mac'N-Cheese for dinner.

Veteran unemployment is 46% higher than the rest of the population and the ONLY place that seems to be 'working' is America's energy sector.

This is a true Win-Win situation.

Thank you for looking.  Thank you for helping us help America's finest.

*We will continue to drive it until sold so the actual odometer reading will vary.  However, we are only using it go in/out of Williston and occasionally to Watford City.  And it will not be driven at all this week since I am home in MT for a week with my Family.

# Note:  our vinyl graphics will come off and leave no residue.  We'd love it if you drove it around your home town and advertised for us … but we suspect you'd rather
have it sans graphics.  We recommend taking it to your local signage or auto detail shop and they can remove them easily.

* This is for sale locally.  We reserve the right to end this auction if someone purchases it locally for the buy-it-now price.

Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition ready to hit the woods

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

Among all the debuts at the Detroit Auto Show next week, Ram will remove the ghillie-suit veil from its 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition, but the truck's bigger - and more fitting - debut will take place later in the week at the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas. The new Mossy Oak Edition is aimed at hunting, camping and fishing enthusiasts, and it will go on sale within the next couple of months with a base price of $39,985, not including $1,195 for destination.
With plenty of accolades already in the bag for 2013 (including Motor Trend Truck of the Year and Truck of Texas), the 2014 Ram 1500 is definitely getting plenty of attention, and the new camouflage job from Mossy Oak should help get a few more eyeballs on this truck. Starting with the Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab Outdoorsman, this special edition is only offered in three exterior colors - Black, Black Gold or Prairie Pearl (shown above) - to go with the Mossy Oak camouflage along the lower edges of the body as well as the upper edge of the cargo bed. Unlike the previous Mossy Oak Edition (2011-2012), buyers can now opt for the innovative RamBox system in which to store plenty of hunting, camping and fishing gear.
Inside, there's more camo on the center stack and door panels, and the headrests are embroidered with the Mossy Oak logo. Like the Outdoorsman, the Mossy Oak Edition comes standard with cloth seats in two available colors, but it adds in a new option: Katzkin leather in Espresso Tuscany with the Mossy Oak logo embroidered into the seatbacks. Scroll down for more information on the 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition.

Chrysler earns $1.7B in 2012, revises product plans for US

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Hot on the heels of Ford's earnings announcement for the year that was, Chrysler today reported a 2012 net income of $1.7 billion, up substantially from the comparatively minuscule $183 million profit earned in 2011 when it repaid its US government loans.
Chrysler's good year ended with an excellent fourth quarter that saw net income rise 68 percent from $225 million in 2011 to $378 million. Where are all those extra earnings coming from? Market share, which Chrysler saw increase to 11.4% last year on sales of 1.65 million vehicles. In fact, the Auburn Hills, MI-based automaker out-paced the industry's market growth of 13 percent last year with sales up 21 percent for the year.
The company also revealed an updated product plan for its Chrysler Group and Fiat brands that looks all the way out to 2016. It's an updated version of the plan introduced in 2009 shortly after Fiat took control of the American automaker, and includes such new additions as an Alfa Romeo model, likely the 4C, to be introduced in the US this year, as well five more Alfa models by 2016. Likewise, Fiat will be growing by an additional seven models in the coming few years.

2013 Ram 1500 Black Express is midnight in the garden of good and evil

Wed, 10 Jul 2013

Building off of the solid base of its 1500 pickup, Ram has announced a dark horse in its stable, the Ram Black Express, which comes equipped with a bevy of features to distinguish it from the regular Express model. (Just don't call it a black sheep.)
The Black Express sets itself apart visually from other 1500s with black 20-inch aluminum wheels, black bumpers, a black grille and front fascia with fog lamps, black Ram's head badges front and rear but no side badges for a clean, shaved look. The premium bi-function halogen projector headlamps with LED running lights, which aren't even an option on the regular Express, come standard on the Black edition.
The 5.7-liter Hemi V8 is unchanged, making 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Paired with the standard eight-speed automatic transmission, the truck can tow 6,500 pounds. It's on sale starting this month, and the base Black Express can be had for $26,955, just $1,105 more than the base Express 4X2 regular cab. Feel free to peruse the press release below and check out the image gallery below.
