Greetings to all, Presented here today is 1989 Rolls Royce Silver Spur with 97272 on the odometer. I will do my best to be accurate with all aspects of this proper motor car. It is for sale locally as well, so if you have a respectable offer- please message me. This Rolls is finished in the factory dark blue paint with a lighter blue leather interior. The lambswool mats are plush and in very nice condition. The A/C and heating systems work properly with no problems. All glass is excellent with no cracks, all exterior lenses are in excellent shape. All interior wood is really excellent with deep color and no cracking, the only slight wood crack is directly in the middle of the center dash- the rest is perfect. Owned by a Rolls club member and serviced properly. The everflex roof had one flaw and has been repaired (see pics). There are also several touch ups and door dings (I have noted all of them in the pics). The tires are michelin and have about 10/32" on the tread, but from sitting alot they are developing dryrot cracks- they were replaced in 2007. The brakes lights extenguish within the normal amount of time and the vehicle stops properly- brake pads are measured at 4/32" and will be needed fairly soon. No abnormal leaks from this Rolls, I've never seen one without some kinda wetness underneath. No smoke from tailpipes or engine compartment, just a nice driver! I think the Spur's are the most affordable entry level luxury car on the market right now! Clear title comes with vehicle, Owners manual is present. Although the jack and tool kit are missing. There will be no reserve on the vehicle, a paypal deposit of 1000.00 will be due on this vehicle and then either cashiers check/cash will be due within 7 days unless other arrangements have been made. Thanks so much for looking! Any questions feel free to ask.

Rolls-Royce Alpine Centenary Ghost makes its first North American appearance
Sun, 18 Aug 2013Rolls-Royce choose this year's Shanghai Motor Show as the occasion to show off its achingly cool Alpine Trial Centenary Edition Ghost, but The Quail was the site of the car's North American coming out party.
The one-off Rolls pays tribute to a heroic moment in the marque's history, when four 1913 Silver Ghosts, three factory cars and one privateer entry, successfully completed the 1,820-mile Austrian Alpine Trials. The privateer racer in question, James Radley, is the gentleman responsible for the pretty color combination you see on this new Ghost. Radley's blue bodywork over black wheels looked great in 1913 and haven't lost any luster 100 years on to our eyes.
You can revisit the details about this historically rooted Rolls-Royce in the press release below, or simply take a stroll through our fresh gallery of images from The Quail.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II rolls in with some subtle updates [w/video]
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Downsizing is a relative term - especially when it comes to a Rolls-Royce. But that's just what the British luxury automaker did with the release of the Ghost in 2010. Sure, it's over seventeen and a half feet long (over eighteen in Extended Wheelbase form), but that's still shorter than the 19 feet the standard Phantom stretches, and that much shorter than the twenty-foot-long Phantom EWB.
The Ghost has now been on the market for four years, high time Rolls gave it a little refresh - and that's just what it's done here in Geneva with the release of the Ghost Series II. It's essentially the same vehicle as the outgoing model, but the Ghost Series II (like the Phantom Series II released in 2012) benefits from a host of minor updates. The styling has been subtly revised, and the sumptuous cabin space has been updated with such features as a new infotainment display, rotary controller and trim.
Although Goodwood hasn't released official output figures, the 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 (only the second twelve-cylinder engine in Rolls-Royce history) carries over from the existing model. We might hope for some of the power upgrades released for the Wraith or the Ghost V-Specification, but what we know for sure is that it's mated to a Satellite Aided Transmission that uses GPS data to 'read' the road ahead and choose the right gear for the turns coming up. It's a nifty technology pioneered by parent company BMW, and along with the other updates rolled out for the Series II, promises to make the hyper-luxurious driving experience that much more so.
Rolls-Royce developing new convertible
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Rolls-Royce is not a company that makes a lot of different vehicles, but of the ones it does, it tends to offer several versions. That's how we end up with sedan, long-wheelbase, coupe and (in the former's case) convertible versions of the Phantom and Ghost. And now Goodwood has confirmed development of another model.
Although details in the press release below are few and far between, it does promise to "deliver effortless, open-top touring... with an engaging and exhilarating driving experience." CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös added: "We are currently developing an exciting and thoroughly contemporary interpretation of a pinnacle drophead tourer which will introduce even more discerning men and women to Rolls-Royce ownership."
What that tells us is that the new model - set to reach showrooms "by mid-2016" - will be a convertible that's exciting to drive and more youthful than the Phantom Drophead Coupe. In other words, and in all likelihood, we're looking at the convertible version of the Ghost-based Wraith fastback (like the one we recently spotted undergoing testing, pictured above). Expect it, then, to carry the same 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12, but with the added rush of wind in your hair.
