Vehicle Condition:

This Saab 93 is in pristine condition inside and out. It runs and drives perfectly. The body and paint are both in good condition with a few minor scratches and dents (see pictures). This Saab has NOT been in any accidents and has NOT been smoked in. The Carfax is clean and certified. The glass is in great shape and the interior is super clean with no rips, tears, burns, or stains. The Wheels and tires are in good shape with about 70% tread remaining on the tires. We are a wholesale dealership that has been making honest deals for over 20 years. We are a firm believer in trying to provide an honest car at a great price. Every effort has been made to properly represent the vehicles that are listed. We attempt to list all information that is known about the vehicle. Please understand that all “used” vehicles have parts that are subject to fail and will have normal wear including scratches and dings depending upon the vehicles year and miles. Payment Methods:

Cash(in-person only), certified check, bank wire transfer, or 3rd party financing. We do offer financing. A credit application must be filled out to be approved for financing. Please have all funds or pre- approved financing in place before making your final bid. Payment must be made in full within 7 days of the close of the auction. The vehicle must be paid for in full before the vehicle can leave our facility. Deposits: To secure the vehicle the winning bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction.

 

 

Non Paying Bidder:

If the deposit is not received within 2 business days of the close of the auction or the vehicle has not been paid in full within 7 days after the close of the auction then we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to another qualified buyer.

 

 

Additional Fees & Taxes:

We are a wholesale dealer who does not believe in charging CASH buyers any additional documentation fees. If any sort of financing is used a $199 document fee will be assessed. A 9.3% Sales tax and title/registration fees will be accessed to all Arizona residents and or customers who plan on registering the vehicle in the State of Arizona within 365 days of the purchase date. All out of state customers are responsible for all city, county, state taxes and fees as well as title and registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.

 

 

Shipping:

The buyer is responsible for the all of the shipping charges. The vehicle must be paid for in full before the vehicle can leave our facility to be transported. Upon request we will assist our customers in locating a reasonable transporter. Once the vehicle has left our facility we assume no responsibility to damages left to the vehicle. Warranty: All vehicles are sold “as is” with no warranty or guaranties. We do not offer any sort of warranties that can be purchased. A manufacturer’s warranty may still apply. An extended warranty may be purchased through the Manufacturer or a third party agency.

National Electric Vehicle stops Saab 9-3 production amidst financing woes

It seems that quirky, Swedish automaker Saab might be on life support yet again. Its owner, National Electric Vehicle Sweden, has announced that it's reducing its workforce and temporarily halting production of the 9-3 due to financial problems. NEVS was only building six cars a day, anyway.
The company put out a press release admitting its economic woes, but it still appeared hopeful. NEVS claims it's developing "a new platform on the Phoenix architecture," and it has a frame agreement with an international automotive OEM. It didn't give any specific details about either one of these assertions though. According to The Wall Street Journal, NEVS needs the partnership to lower development costs in order to stay afloat. Saab spokesperson Mikael Ostlund told Autoblog in an email that the stop in production of the 9-3 in Trollhättan would last four weeks.
NEVS says it's in negotiation to sell a portion of the company to an automotive company. Its current monetary woes are caused by shareholder Qingbo Investment Company not financing the company as agreed. "We plan to have the results of the discussions at latest during June," said Ostlund.

Former Saab chairman Muller faces summons in tax inquiry

Former Saab Chairman Victor Muller may be called in for questioning as part of an official inquiry into suspected tax evasion by three of the automaker's former executives. A prosecutor has officially named former CEO Jan-Ake Jonsson and two other executives in the investigation, and official court documents say that Muller will be called in by the Financial Crimes Unit. According to Reuters, prosecutors are currently looking into allegations that the executives worked to dodge taxes between 2010 and 2011, when the automaker finally went into bankruptcy.
The Truth About Cars reports the investigation may center around the $540,000 paid as consulting fees to Latin America Tug Holding NV, a company Muller owns. It's possible that the Swedish authorities believe the Saab executives were using the tug boat company as a tax haven, and that the automaker should have paid taxes and social security contributions on the money. Muller has not been charged.
Meanwhile, Muller is defending his earnings in a new interview with Automotive News. Having come under fire for his $773,000 salary at Saab, the Spyker CEO said his pay was commensurate with an executive running a company with 4,000 employees.

Grainy leaked images show stillborn Castriota-designed Saab 9-3

The Saab faithful are going to be playing the "what if" game for years to come. It's one of the burdens of being a fan of a dead brand. A fresh batch of grainy 9-3 Phoenix images have made their way online, alleged shots of a design proposal penned by none other than Jason Castriota. The five-door looks to feature an honest liftback, though SaabsUnited.com says this particular vehicle was drawn up as part of a business plan in early 2011. As such, Castriota apparently told the site the final product was to look much more athletic than what we see here. While the low-resolution images make it difficult to tell much about the design, we certainly appreciate the familiar roofline, full band taillamps and the contrasting rear spoiler reminiscent of the old Saab 99 and 900 ducktails.
Unfortunately, we know all too well why this creation never saw the light of day. Would-be savior Victor Muller couldn't quite pull Saab out of its nosedive, and the company fell into bankruptcy before the 9-3 Phoenix could get off the ground. There's talk of the Phoenix platform and Saab brand having new life in other markets as EVs and even as gas cars, but the model seen here will likely never see production - let alone North American showrooms.
