Beautiful 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible 1 Owner Low Miles Turbo Spectacular! on 2040-cars

Year:2007 Mileage:30000
Location:

Milford, New Hampshire, United States

Milford, New Hampshire, United States

This is simply a spectacular car.
I will assume that if you are looking at this listing you know a bit about the car- I'll ramble on, anyway.... it's just what I do.
We are the original owners and the car has led a pampered, garaged life- No winters, salt, snow- in the rain a few times.
This is a 2007 SAAB 9-3 Aero Convertible in the most beautiful blue I've ever seen.
The car is absolutely loaded with EVERY single possible option- sticker was OVER $50,000!
I won't list everything but......

2.8 Turbo Motor w/ Synthetic always
Power: Mirrors, Windows, Top, Locks, etc
A/C and Climate Control
Power Heated Seats
Navigation
CD
Traction Control
Xenon Lights
Etc.....

Comes with all papers, manuals, books, etc as well as docs showing 10/20/30K services complete.
I do have the original window sticker, as well.
I barely cleaned the car for the pics- I did a vac and did wipe down the dashboard....... that's it. Carpets, mats, etc are AS NEW.
The top is a work of art if you've never seen the panels rise, the roof fold away, the panels drop...... pretty cool.
This car also has the feature of a true 4-season car. Yes..... it's a convertible, but the top is of incredible quality and it's Front Wheel drive and made in Sweden so it is (at the very least) a 3-1/2 season car.
I sold my Miata (just) and that was NOT like this SAAB- absolutely loved the Miata but it was RWD, etc.
We are simply selling the SAAB as it's not practical right now with a 5 year old. Take care of it and maybe we'll buy it back in 5 years!
Just not the right car at the right time- we just bought a little Mazda 3 and........ it ain't this SAAB, that's for sure! But, it makes more sense right now.
I'm selling my house and that's why the Miata went- right car..... wrong time. Life, I guess.
I won't say that you won't find a nicer Aero but.... I don't think you will..... not from the original owners, no winters, garaged, no accidents, no stories, no nothing.
Dealers often have some nice cars and I don't want to disparage them but...... I don't like unknowns. I want to know who had a car, where it was kept, how it was cared for, etc.......
Please see the pics and ask questions if you have some.
We have the title in hand.

Saab to reintroduce 9-3 SportCombi as Phoenix development continues

Sun, 27 Apr 2014

The saga of Saab goes to show that you can't keep a good automaker down. Founded back in 1947 (the same year, incidentally, as Ferrari, TVR and Maserati defector OSCA), Saab split off from its aerospace division, merged with Scania trucks, was subsequently picked up by General Motors, then pawned off onto Spyker before its current Chinese owners brought it back out of bankruptcy. Now under the auspices of National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), Saab has official restarted production of the 9-3 sedan, but what are its plans for the future?
In correspondence with Autoblog, NEVS communications director Mikael Ostlund gave us an idea of what to expect. First of all, NEVS is living up to its name by launching an electric version of the 9-3. As we reported a couple of weeks ago, the 9-3 EV currently is undergoing a pilot launch in the Chinese city of Qingdao (which owns part of NEVS) before being rolled out in other markets around the world. But that's not all NEVS has planned for Saab.
The reborn Swedish automaker also plans to relaunch the 9-3 SportCombi to supplement the 9-3 sedan. The wagon version was part of the second-gen 9-3's rollout in the early 2000s, offering increased cargo space and versatility - particularly vital since GM had seen it fit to replace the previous hatchback bodystyle favored by the brand faithful with a more traditional trunked form to lure new buyers into the fold. Although Ostlund confirmed that NEVS has "the option of adding the convertible" back into the lineup, nut has yet to decide on if and when it will do so.

NEV deal to buy Saab delayed

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

Remember a month and a half ago when we told you that Saab will "soldier on?" Well, we should have written "stand at attention."
According to SaabsUnited, the deal for National Electric Vehicle Sweden to buy the remaining Saab assets didn't close on schedule. In fact, it's been delayed by "a month, perhaps more." NEVS also seems to have indicated that it's not going to be answering any more questions about the deal until it's completed.
NEVS is supposedly planning on building electric cars based on the design that would have been the next-generation 9-3. The company itself is a partnership between a Chinese energy company and a Japanese investment group.

GM recalling 524k vehicles over hood latches and toe link nuts

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

Just hours after confirming to Autoblog its intention to recall 97,540 vehicles in the US (117,651 in North America) for a possible manufacturing defect in the chassis control module of several models, General Motors is issuing two more campaigns that affect another 379,401 units in the US (524,384 in North America).
One campaign covers 290,107 US examples of the 2010-2015 Cadillac SRX and the 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X because the "rear toe link adjuster lock nuts" may be improperly torqued. If not up to spec, the toe adjuster link could separate and allow the wheel to shift while driving, making the handling unstable. GM says that it knows of three crashes and two injuries as a result of this problem. Dealers are inspecting the nuts and installing a new link assembly, if necessary. Autoblog first reported about this potential issue when it showed up on a list of recalls from Transport Canada.
The second recall is for 89,294 examples of the 2013-2015 Chevrolet Spark in the US manufactured from January 17, 2012, through July 29, 2014. According to GM, "corrosion can cause the secondary hood latch striker to stick in the open position." If this happens, and the primary latch also isn't engaged for some reason, the hood could fly open while driving. About 13,000 of these affected Sparks are at dealers and are being held until repaired. The fix requires replacing the hood striker. GM isn't aware of crashes, injuries or fatalities caused by this problem.
