Great condition Saturn Redline, Brand new tires. Stored in the winter, never driven in rain or snow. $17,900 There is a loan on it.
The 2008 Saturn Sky is a stylish, low-slung two-seat roadster that shares a platform (though not exterior panels) with Pontiac's Solstice. It is arguably the more attractive of the two, with an especially distinctive interior theme, and comes with additional standard equipment, including features like air conditioning, standard 18-inch rims, keyless entry, and anti-lock brakes.
The Sky's standard engine is a 2.4-liter, 177-horsepower inline-four connected to a five-speed manual transmission, with a five-speed automatic available as an option. For 2007, a high-performance Red Line version of the Sky joined the lineup. It features a 260-horsepower turbocharged direct-injection 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, firmer suspension setting, polished 18-inch wheels, and dual chrome-tipped exhaust, as well as its own interior enhancements, such as Red Line-specific instruments (including a digital boost gauge), metallic sill plates, and stainless steel trim. Both 2008 Saturn Sky models have rear-wheel drive, with the engine mounted in front.
With either engine, the lightweight 2008 Saturn Sky turns in brisk performance; the Sky can get to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds with the manual gearbox, according to Saturn, while the turbo shortens that to 5.5 seconds. The base engine lacks refinement and can be quite coarse in sound and feel, but the Red Line's turbocharged engine and different gear ratios make the car feel more sophisticated and responsive in ordinary driving; the turbo doesn't bring much lag (hesitation) either.
The 2008 Saturn Sky has a ride that's firm, though not downright hard, with quick-ratio steering that feels precise and brings a good feel of the road. Even approaching the limits of adhesion, the Sky handles predictably.

Saturn Vue ignition issue was discussed three times before recall, new documents reveal
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Despite the tens of millions of recalled vehicles this year, it's somewhat rare that we get a glimpse into what goes into deciding when to conduct one of these safety campaigns. New documents published by General Motors and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are giving us an interesting opportunity to see how the sausage is made and show the number of meetings it takes to declare a recall.
In early August, GM added about another 269,000 vehicles to its 2014 recall tally in the US when it announced a slew of new safety campaigns. Among them was a fix for the 2002-2004 Saturn Vue that covered 202,155 of them in the US. The problem was that the key could be removed from the ignition even when it wasn't in the "OFF" position, and that had caused two crashes and one injury, according to the automaker.
Where we start to see behind the veil is in the defect notice freshly released by NHTSA. It shows that GM began investigating more widely for ignition switches in April, shortly after the company expanded its ignition switch recall to a variety of Saturn products, among others, according to Automotive News. The automaker found 152 reports in the 2002-2004 Vue of vehicles rolling away or the key being removed out of a total population of 215,243 units worldwide.
Report: GM temporarily restarts Saturn Outlook, Hummer H3 production

Even though both the Saturn and Hummer brands are being phased out, General Motors has reportedly revived production of both the Outlook crossover and H3 SUV to meet consumer demands.
Last month, GM assembled 1,037 Outlooks at its Lansing, Michigan facility, which is where the crossover's Lamda platform stablemates (Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia) are built. A spokesperson for GM states that production was reinstated to utilize the rest of the Saturn-specific material at the facility, and that the automaker will continue to assemble the Outlook for a few more weeks.
GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
