2010 Subaru Forester Xt Limited Wagon 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Spring Valley, New York, United States
Hello,
Up for sale is our 2010 Subaru Forester XT Limited. We purchased this car for my wife in December 2010 from Englewood NJ Subaru Dealer and are the single owners since. The car was primarily used to get to work, getting the kids to and from school, and picking up groceries. The car is excellent in all weather! In the snow the car is balances and confident, In the summer the huge sunroof opens to a great view of the sky/stars. Fully Loaded with Leather seats and steering wheel, Factory Sat Nav/DVD system in dash, Auto HVAC, comfortable rear seats that recline to increase room and are absolutely amazing on longer commutes. 4 adults can fit in this car comfortably. A family of 4 including 2 youngers is getting difficult with the strollers and carry-on, so we are selling this Forester to get a Minivan :( The car is 100% mechanically sound - regular oil changes 3,000 miles or 3 months have been conducted, Radiator coolant flush, brake fluid flush, transmission fluid flush, and AWD differential oil flushed. New Brake Pads all around (StopTech Pads). I have a set of Winter/Snow Tires that we have used only one WInter that are not included in this sale - please let me know if interested - at least 85% tread left) Serious inquiries only - Please do not bid if you do not have intention of purchasing. Thank you for viewing, Additional photos available |

Subaru readies BRZ RA Racing for Japanese trackdays
Sun, 27 Jan 2013As if we needed any more reasons to take a Subaru BRZ to the track, Subaru has just announced that it will be producing a racing-spec version of the car straight from the assembly line. The only problem is that the BRZ RA Racing is being offered for the Japanese domestic market only, and won't be visiting any road courses in the US any time soon.
To get the BRZ ready for some serious track time, Subaru added brake ducts beneath the front fascia, removable tow hooks and an oil cooler behind the grille. Inside, the car gets a factory six-point roll cage (including custom-fit floor mats) and a four-point race harness for the driver. Now we get to pricing where US enthusiasts will get even more miffed. The entire suite of racing add-ons increases the BRZ's price by 31,500 yen, which converts to less than $350 US; the total price of the car converts to right around $31,500 US.
There is a brief press release posted below, which has been translated (somewhat poorly) by Google.
Subaru SVX to be resurrected with hybrid power?
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Salt. Get the salt. A new report out of Australia is claiming that Subaru is working on a new SVX. Yes, seriously.
Now, this is not feasible for a pair of huge reasons. First, the demand for a two-door Subaru, as we've seen with the BRZ, has not been tremendous. Second, the original SVX was a pretty horrible seller. Could the world be ready for a revival, though?
According to an unnamed source that spoke to Motoring.com.au, the reborn SVX will be based on the Viziv 2 Concept that was shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but it will be a considerably more aggressive design, arriving as a low, wide shooting brake. According to the Aussies, the reborn SVX would ride on a new Subaru Global Platform, which will underpin the next-generation Tribeca, because of that platform's support for hybridization.
Refreshed 2015 Subaru Impreza priced from $18,195*
Fri, 10 Oct 2014It was just a few weeks ago that Subaru unveiled its refreshed 2015 Impreza with refinements like a tweaked front fascia, upgraded infotainment system, standard rearview camera, slightly better fuel economy and other goodies. The Japanese automaker has finally decided to tell us what all of this new kit costs, and it actually hasn't increased too much over last year.
A base model 2015 Impreza 2.0i sets back buyers $18,195 for the four-door sedan or $18,695 for the five-door hatch (*not including $795 destination and delivery on all models). All of those prices are $300 more than the 2014 model year.
Moving up to the Premium trim requires $20,995 for the sedan or $21,495 for the five-door and adds 16-inch wheels, heated seats, heated mirrors and a windshield wiper de-icer. The Sport Premium pack, offered exclusively on the hatch, goes further with features like body-color side sills, 17-inch wheels, foglights, and more for $20,995 with the five-speed manual or $21,995 with the CVT.
