Up for sale is my 1998 Impreza wagon I picked up not too long ago.  My original intentions for the car were possibly do a hybrid build it and have it be a daily that gets driven to the track.  But I cant afford to keep two swapped cars.  So one of them has to go. Clean Title is in hand! I am the 3rd owner of the car.

Anyways it has the following-

It made 273 whp back in December 2012 at efi logics with a 7 psi wastegate spring.  Get the correct 14 psi spring and the car should have no issue making 300 whp if not a little more.

The car does smoke a little bit under boost, Mike said its most likely the piston rings wearing out.  However, it does not effect anything else. The car still runs and idles fine.  There are no knocks, leaks, ticks, or CEL's.
The coils are riding pretty harsh, I would recommend replacing them.  Previous owner installed aluminum lugs, I would also recommend replacing those as I dont trust them.  I have a stock set I can include if i can find them.  I love the wagon and wish I could keep her!!  But like I said, my GC needs to get fixed and I cant afford to put 93 in two cars.

The car is dirty in these pics but I figure its better than nothing for the time being.  This weekend when I get a little free time I plan to wash and wax the car up really nice and also vacuum the inside.  Until then, here are the current pics

I also have front and rear rs bumpers, 4 white and tan OBS doors, and 1 white L hood to go with the car.  The front bumper has a v6 lip as well.  The car has alot of work put into it and runs solid, the swap was done right and so was the harness.  The car moves great and surprises alot of people.  Whoever gets it is going to have a great daily, or a great track car!  I'm going to ask 10,000 for everything.  Only considering cash or paypal payment at this time with a deposit due at time of winning bid.  ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES.  You can reach me via PM or for fastest response shoot me a txt at 203-848-seven nine three six. Thanks for taking the time to view my thread. :)

2015 Subaru WRX

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Every time I drive a Subaru WRX, I wish one of my parents had taken some weird, top-secret spy job that would have forced us to relocate to Finland when I was a kid. I could have learned the art of rally-style car control as a young lad, and in my adult life, sought out a dangerous/rewarding/awesome career as a professional WRC driver.
Never was that more clear than on the launch program for the new 2015 WRX, where Subaru pointed us down a long, somewhat treacherous stretch of road in the tree-lined mountains of northern California. Quick elevation changes were met with blind turns and washed-out shoulders, not to mention rogue bits of snow, ice and gravel that lined the apexes of nearly every turn. Here, I couldn't stop grinning, my co-driver and I switching between second and third gears, with precise steering inputs and judicious braking keeping us safely on the road and not plummeting nose-first into the trees. And the WRX simply devoured each inch of pavement with a ferocious poise that made me remember why I have loved this car so darn much.
But this sort of 100 Acre Wood perfection isn't the only way to experience Subaru's darling WRX. After a long stint of driving back down the California coast on Highway 1, I realized that Subaru's line about this being the best-driving WRX yet wasn't just a bunch of PR mumbo-jumbo. Of course, it isn't without a few compromises...

2015 Subaru WRX: Introduction

Tue, 10 Jun 2014

"As far as street-legal rally cars go, there's still nothing better than a WRX." I wrote that line following my first drive of the 2015 Subaru WRX late last year - one of the better motoring experiences I had in 2013. Sure, a particularly involving drive route helped, but I don't want to sell the new Subaru short: it's a seriously good car - easily one of the sharpest, best-driving little turbos available today.
When I drove the even hotter 2015 WRX STI in January, it was a similar love-fest. The STI is infused with all of the WRX's greatness, but it's sharper, meaner, and on good roads (and race tracks), the winged wonder is really outstanding. But because of its higher price tag, less forgiving suspension tuning, and only marginal performance increases, I'm convinced that the STI isn't the best WRX for the money. And much as I love it, I just don't think I'd ever buy the STI over its more sedate sister (though I totally understand why others might).
So when it came time to add a new long-term car to the Autoblog fleet, many votes were cast in favor of the WRX. There was a lot of debate about whether or not to get the standard version, or the mightier STI. But at the end of the day, my argument that the basic WRX is the better daily driver - nee, one of the best all-around, all-weather performers money can buy - carried the day.

Subaru mulls motorsports return, nixes small CUV plans

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

The Subaru WRX STI breaking the automotive lap record at the Isle of Man might be just the beginning of the headlines trumpeting a Subaru racecar. According to the latest rumors, the Japanese brand is looking at taking motorsports more seriously in the future. That could possibly even mean endurance racing at Le Mans.
According to Auto Express, the brand is mulling a greater participation in motorsport, but the big question is where. The World Rally Championship isn't a certainty because it now favors smaller cars like the Volkswagen Polo. Subaru still competes in series like Rally America and Global Rallycross, but there are bigger stages to play on.
What's interesting, is that this commitment to motorsports comes right as the automaker is denying plans to build a small CUV for its passenger car lineup. According to Auto Express, the company has no intention of developing a crossover smaller than the current XV Crosstrek. Even if the sales are there, it would just cost too much to develop. In the US, at least, the XV is doing great with sales up 42 percent in July.
