1988 Samurai  NO RESERVE

2.0 fuel injected tracker engine, runs great, computerized,

Header and new exhaust

513 final gear ratio

5 speed manual (rebuilt) with Heavy duty kevlar and ceramic clutch to handle added Horsepower

Differentials rebuilt with trac lockers

All new brakes

Custom Aluminum radiator with thermo electric fan

6" lift with new shocks

Custom front push bumper with winch mount

Badlands 12,000 lb. winch

Custom rear bumper with LED taillights and backup lights

Soft top has been replaced (good shape but not brand new)

Wet Okali neoprene (wet suit material) water proof seat covers (very nice best on the market NOT CHEAP)

Bedliner floors inside

7747 miles believed to be original, I purchase this 2 years ago from a guy in SC. He told me it had been owned by a parks division in SC so it didn't hardly get any miles put on it (I don't have documentaion)

Body is an almost rust free body from SC. No rust holes ever in floors or anywhere else. Does have some suface rust in various hinge areas etc. just where paint has been chipped. RF fender does have a dent in from with light surface rust. Factory paint still in pretty good shape (for being a 1988). Since it is factory paint you can know no rust repair was done. Could use paint if you want it perfect (nicks, chips, stickers faded,26 rears old) hood has been belinered inside and out (old carb engine had carb fire and burnt paint) hood had some rust on front edge before being blasted and bedlinered.

17" Extreme Simulated beadlock wheels, Cooper 33/12.50/17 Mud Terrain tires

Kenwood CD player with Ipod hookup

PVC interior panels

All driveline rebuilt with new u-joints, seals, bearings, etc....

Very nice, better than new it has the power it should have from the factory.

Hard to find a never rusted Samurai, this is a great example.

Drives great

Bid with confidence I have 100% feedback for a reason. and If you get here to pickup and feel I didn't describe the Samurai correctly I will return your deposit and cancel the sale.

It's a hard knock life for a N"urburgring rental car

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

Rental cars get no respect. They're abused, misused and flogged mercilessly as athletes in Rental Car Olympics. And that's just at your everyday airport rental counter. The torture gets extreme for rental cars thrashed around Germany's infamous Nürburgring.
Rent4Ring expects its customers to drive its cars around the 'Ring with enthusiasm and, in some cases, less skill than the pros. Rent4Ring just recently retired its Suzuki Swift Sport from its fleet and shared the car's two-year-plus lifetime highlights.
The little hatchback made more than 2,800 laps of the 'Ring over three seasons amounting to more than 310,000 miles driven by 457 different drivers. "Some were fast, some were slow. Some were nice to the car, a few were frankly awful," says a Rent4Ring rep.

Suzuki previews new S-Cross compact CUV ahead of Paris debut

Fri, 10 Aug 2012

Despite having one heck of a lackluster presence here in the United States, Suzuki still manages to do well in other markets. That in mind, the automaker continually releases new products and concept cars at international auto shows that aren't destined for U.S. consumption, but this might not be one of those times.
The aging SX4 crossover is in need of replacement, and if Suzuki is still committed to selling passenger cars in the States, something fresh like this S-Cross concept could be just the ticket. Suzuki has, after all, confirmed that the S-Cross will eventually make its way into production.
We have no other details to divulge about the S-Cross, except that it's a small crossover concept and that it will make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. Suzuki says that the S-Cross has a "Emotion x Quality x Aerodynamics" design theme that uses "distinctive dynamic lines that start on the front bumper, sweep across the doors, and continue to the rear of the body." No offense, Suzuki, but we've heard that before.

Suzuki recalling 101,000 Forenza, Reno models over faulty headlamps

Tue, 21 Aug 2012

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of over 100,000 Suzuki models. The NHTSA recall extends to certain 2004-2006 Suzuki Forenza models and 2005-2006 Reno vehicles, These were vehicles produced from September 2003 through March 2006.
According to the announcement, the recall pertains to potentially faulty headlight assemblies. A poor contact in the headlight terminals can result in the splice pack melting, resulting in partial or complete loss of headlamp functionality.
