Up for bid is a 1995 Toyota 4-Runner SUV. This SUV body is in great condition. No rust or dents. My daughter was driving this vehicle to and from work. A radiator hose burst and the engine overheated and blew a head gasket. Engine was torn down with intentions of replacing both head gaskets and having the heads reworked. After all this work I decided to just sell the SUV. Its given me good service in the past but I'm retired now and don't have the energy nor time to put into the vehicle.
The exterior is in really good condition for the year. Its had a recent paint job done at a discount shop. Looks good at a distance but up close you can see some noticeable orange peel if you look close enough. The Transmission and all other components work great. Interior looks good with a little wear and has cracks in the dash. Heater and air conditioner was working well. The electric windows all go up and down good, that includes the Sunroof. Electric door locks work well. Windows are tinted and all are in good condition, no cracks or broken glass. No chrome is missing. Body is really in good condition. The wheels alone are worth $600. This is a good vehicle for someone who wants to invest in a rebuilt engine. I believe in being frank and earnest about everything. eBay Find of the Day: Harley-Davidson powered Toyota Prius [w/video]

And sometimes we pick eBay Finds of the Day, because they're hacked apart Toyota Prius' with Harley Davidson V-twin-power; concocted by the same mind that brought you innumerable Jalopnik articles and is partially responsible for the joy that is the 24 Hours of LeMons. This time it's that last one.
A fairly subtle tweet from long-time Jalop contributor and well-regarded grease monkey, Murilee Martin, hipped us to this crazy Frankenstein Prius. Built from the bones of a 2008 Toyota and the heart of a 1986 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883, the motive portmanteau is, well... it's a thing.
Toyota's advanced Hybrid Synergy Drive has been unceremoniously wrenched and snipped out of the engine bay, making room (via an artful hole in the hood) for the towering, bored out V-twin. Or, as the maestro himself puts it:
Watch a Camry driver in full road rage
Mon, 29 Apr 2013There are vehicles that, fair or not, will forever be associated with jerky drivers. But as this very recent footage from an in-car camera shows, even the most mundane of sedans can be piloted by an ass.
In this video, the driver of one very beige Toyota Camry is driving like a person choked with rage. Though we don't see which (if any) actions by our camera car might have lead up to the tirade, we do see the Camry driver swerving from lane to lane, in multiple attempts to get in front of and brake check the couple in the recording.
According to the text associated with the YouTube video, the offending incident took place last week, on a section of I-880 near Fremont, CA. The uploader has gone so far as to include the date, time and license plate number of the Camry driver, in hopes, we guess, that some kind of legal action can be taken against him. Subaru Indiana plant to stop building Toyota Camry
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Subaru may be set to end production of the Toyota Camry at its Lafayette, IN facility by 2017, according to a report from the Louisville Journal-Courier and a CBS affiliate in Columbia, South Carolina. Speaking to the plant's Executive Vice President Tom Easterday, the whole affair sounds like a done deal.
"Based on changes in Toyota's production plans, they have decided that the award-winning Camry production contract will not be renewed," Easterday said. Easterday was quick to emphasize that just because Camry production would end, doesn't mean jobs will be lost. "There will be no loss of jobs at SIA as a result of this," he said, before adding that the loss of Camry production will have no impact Subaru's $400 million investment to ready the plant for Impreza production in 2016. That said, adding a promised 900 jobs may take longer than originally planned, as Camry production staff are set to be retrained on Subaru production.
SIA currently has the capacity to produce 100,000 Camrys per year, and began production of the family sedan in 2007 alongside production of the Subaru Outback, Legacy and eventually, the soon-to-be-discontinued Tribeca.
