2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition V8 Automatic 4WD Sunroof/Moonroof Towing Package w 7 pin round wiring harness, 2 in Reese Hitch Up for Auction is our Toyota 4Runner that we bought in 2005 as 2nd owner. We had a Rav prior to buying the 4runner. Because of the kids getting bigger and having friends with them, we bought a Sequoia last fall for the 3rd seat. The 4runner was maintained with oil changes every 3,000 miles. It burns no oil and runs perfectly. I loved the V8 so much that I have the same engine in the Sequoia. It has amazing power and can pull a boat with no problems. It has had the brakes done recently. It has Michelin tires that will need to be changed in 5-10,000 miles. The tires are the only weakness on this vehicle. It is absolutely beautiful without any blemishes which is why its has taken so long for me to list it. I love this vehicle and you will too. 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Ultimate Edition
Thu, 10 Jul 2014Introduced at the end of 2006, this is the last year for the Toyota FJ Cruiser, the reincarnated FJ40-series Land Cruiser that will shortly journey to Takama-ga-hara, the Plain of High Heaven. In its first model year, we drove it to SEMA and found it, shall we say, coarse. It bobbled on the freeway and droned in the cabin, its boxy interior providing four bounce-boards for unpleasant frequencies. Tall mirrors helped one work around the eclipse of vision aft of the B-pillars, but navigating traffic required forethought and technique. Its turning circle was measured in kilometers. For the first two years of its life, it needed premium gas. It may have been fun to look at, but we couldn't wait to get out of it.
That's not the case anymore, and now the FJ Cruiser is poised to join a long list of vehicles that got better and better, then got axed.

Toyota Auris gets new Touring Sports variant
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Toyota showed off the Touring Sports version of the Auris next to the newly introduced Auris Hybrid at last year's Paris Motor Show, but didn't say much about it. Six months later, just ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, the company is crowing about that wagon going on sale with the Hybrid Synergy Drive, creating the Auris Touring Sports Hybrid.
The hauling version of the exceptionally popular Auris hatchback doesn't just add a hybrid wagon to the compact segment, Toyota says it offers class-leading load capacity of 1,658 liters with the Easy-Flat one-touch rear seats down. With the rear seats up, it offers 530 liters. The little big gulp is possible because the hybrid batteries have been placed under the rear seats instead of being in the luggage area.
It looks the same as the hatchback save for the fact that it's 285 millimeters (11.2 inches) longer behind the C pillar, has a redesigned tailgate and a lower load floor. Engines beyond the hybrid will match the rest of the lineup: 1.3-liter and 1.6-liter gasoline engines and a 1.4-liter D-4D diesel. Toyota FV2 Concept is a single-seat mood ring for the road
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Of all the vehicles Toyota brought to the Tokyo Motor Show, the FV2 might be the most creative. The minimalist single-seat concept is a glimpse at Toyota's idea of a "fun to drive" vehicle in the future.
The FV2 is essentially a pod with a diamond-shaped wheel array (what powers said wheels has not been disclosed), and Toyota says that the technology of the vehicle allows it to gauge the driver's mood and suggest possible destinations. The interaction between driver and vehicle is also displayed in an augmented reality screen on the windshield, and the car can also act as a mood ring of sorts with exterior colors and patterns that can change based on the driver's mood. We can just see it now: "Don't mess with Jim today, his car is red."
