Up for auction is a 1988 Toyota Celica GT convertible with only 98707 actual miles. This car is equipped with the bullitproof 4 cylinder with a 5spd manual transmission. This is a Rare rust free car showing to have all its original paint (still shines like new). The interior of the car is all original and in near perfect condition as well with no rips or tears or funny smells. This car is mechanically sound with no leaks or rattles and runs down the road as good as it did the day it was new. The top on the car is in real good shape with no tears and even still has the boot for the top(the plastic back window has a little cloudyness but is still clear to see out) The only thing wrong with the car to my knowledge is the antenna for the radio is broken and the power top is not working but can be put down with only one hand. (seems to be low of hydraulic fluid) The tires are like new and are all matching as well. This would make a great gas saver or just a summer time driver. Toyota TRD Pro lineup coming next week
Thu, 30 Jan 2014A mysterious Toyota commercial recently popped up on YouTube teasing a new TRD Pro lineup for the Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner, and now we're getting our first official word straight from the automaker on the matter. Courtesy of its Facebook page, Toyota is promising that the TRD Pro models will be introduced on February 6th, ready to "conquer the great outdoors."
This date just so happens to mark the first day of the always-truck-friendly Chicago Auto Show, so while Toyota isn't saying as much, we're almost certain the trucks will show up next week in the Windy City. It's not clear what sort of upgrades TRD Pro brings, but it definitely includes black wheels and a tweaked front end featuring a thick, single-bar grille and bold lettering in place of the stylized Toyota logo (shown above on the Tundra).

Toyota says you might have the 40-millionth Corolla ever built
Sat, 07 Sep 2013The guy who bought the 50-millionth Toyota in the US got a free Camry and RAV4, but whoever in the world bought the 40-millionth Corolla in August gets a hearty "thank you" from the Japanese automaker. On sale since 1966, the Corolla is the best-selling nameplate in the world by a goodly margin (more than the Volkswagen Beetle and Ford Model T combined). So while you'd think that vehicle number 40 million would be sitting in a museum somewhere, Toyota can't even say in which country this milestone Corolla was sold, let alone to which customer.
One reason that Toyota is unsure where this Corolla was sold is the fact that the Corolla name itself is more than just the compact sedan sold in the US. On our shores alone, sales of the Matrix are lumped in with the Corolla, but around the world, numerous vehicles wear the Corolla name or share its platform.
