Yes, it looks hideous now, but it's one paint job away from looking great! The car did have some body damage to the door as you can see. It's very much fixable. Tires still have great tread. You just need a new set of hub caps to make these look better! Trunk is clean. Plenty of room back here! Interior looks great! 5-speed for maximum MPG! Still drives great! Was well maintained! Radio, a/c and heat work great! You get all the books! Original window sticker. Look at that MPG! You get a whole stack of service history! It's all there! No warning lights remain on the dash after the car is started! This is exactly what it will look like when you're driving it! Incredible! The car's mileage is original and the odometer works perfectly! If you thought the inside of this car was clean, open the hood! Just look at how nice everything is under here!

Storage Terms: Once a vehicle has been paid for in full, we will store it free of charge for five (5) calendar days and at nineteen ($19) dollars per day after that. Liquidated Damages: In the event that the winning bidder refuses to honor his/her obligation to purchase the vehicle, we shall be entitled to liquidated damages from that bidder in the amount of two thousand dollars plus two hundred dollars per one thousand dollars of the total purchase price of the vehicle. Sales Tax & Other Fees: Depending on the jurisdiction of your residence, the vehicle may be subject to a sales tax. If the winning bidder plans to register the vehicle in the state of Texas, you must pay sales tax in the amount of 6.25% of the sales price, a .20903% Dealer Inventory Tax (Example of dealer inventory tax: $10,000 sales price = $20.90 inventory tax.), $50 Documentary Fee, $33.50 Title Fee, and a $62.00 registration fee (registration fee is only charged if new registration is required). Audi, Toyota land on MIT's list of 50 Most Disruptive Companies
Sat, 23 Feb 2013MIT Technology Review, a magazine all about innovation, has announced its list of the 50 most disruptive companies in 2013, and both Audi and Toyota made the cut. While the term "most disruptive" may carry a negative connotation in most uses (especially in the classroom), the acknowledgement in this case is an accolade, signifying that the company is at the forefront of its industry. In a nutshell, a disruptive company is a business whose innovations force other businesses to alter their strategic direction.
Audi made the list for "pushing autonomous cars closer to fruition with a laser-scanning road detector that fits in a vehicle's front grille," and Toyota for "expanding its dominance of the hybrid-car market with its new plug-in version of the Prius." Mazda's new Mexican plant capacity rises to 230,000
Sat, 05 Jan 2013After the turmoil of last year, 2013 is getting off to a much better start for Mazda. The company has issued a release indicating that the forthcoming plant in Salamanca, Mexico has had its production capacity raised even though it isn't scheduled to go online until March 2014. The original plans called for a 140,000-unit capacity, 90,000 of that allotted for the Mazda2 and Mazda3, the remaining 50,000 for a small car Mazda would build for Toyota that would be based on the Mazda2. The new plans call for raising that by 90,000 units to a total of 230,000 units within two years, by the end of March 2016, and it looks like it will all go toward Mazda production to satisfy growing demand for Skyactiv vehciles. The Mexican plant's opening will be the return of Mazda manufacturing to North America, after Mazda6 production was moved back to Japan last year.
More good news for the company is that it projects 10 billion yen ($114 million) in net income for the financial year that will end in March. That would be a welcome turnaround from the 100-billion-yen loss in the previous financial year, part of a series of three annual losses in a four-year span.

Toyota brings TRD Griffon GT86 to Goodwood [w/video]
Fri, 12 Jul 2013In the midst of the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, there's a particularly special Toyota running up the hill. This special entry is a GT86 (the cousin to our Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ) that's been poked, prodded, and tweaked by the minds at Toyota Racing Development. The result of TRD's fettling is a nearly race-ready car.
Starting with the body, the hood, doors, trunk lid, and wings are all made of carbon fiber. The lightweight treatment doesn't end there, though. The bumpers, fenders, and diffuser all feature carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic, while the windows are now made of polycarbonate plastic.
Under the hood sits the same 2.0-liter boxer engine found in the standard GT86, but its six-speed manual gearbox features a shorter final drive ratio for improved acceleration. The coilover suspension has been firmed up, and a TRD mechanical limited-slip differential replaces the Torsen unit. The TRD Griffon rides on TWS 18-inch wheels and Yokohama Advan tires. To bring proceedings to a stop, TRD has fitted its own mono-block caliper kit, complete with more robust racing pads.
