If you want an original 1966 fj45 LV Wagon stop reading.  If you want a custom Wagon with all the upgraded features keep reading.
I purchased this wagon out of Montana fifteen years ago and have been working on it ever since.  I have lost interest in working on it, so it's time to sell it.  It has come along way but still needs more work and love to be finished.  I will list all the parts and upgrades from the front to the back.
The front bumper is custom made and has a tow bar for towing.
I have two new front fenders for it, one is on it.
I have upgraded the headlights to briter lights.  I have also put the front turn signals in the marker lights so they are not on the fenders.
I have a hi jack lift on the front bumper.
I have upgraded to a Saginaw Power Steering.
It has a double steering arm with cross over steering.
The radiator was cleaned and is stock.
The front axle was changed out with a mid 80's toyota solid axle with disc brakes.  It has 4. 10 gears in it.
It has new 35 inch mudder tires on it.  The rims are in great shape as well.
It has a spring over lift with a custom shakle reversal with no bumper steer.
I have a newer Toyota Power Brake Booster.
The motor is a Chevy 350, with very low miles.  It has a lot of newer parts.  The motor has ceramic headers.  The exhaust is a larger diameter custom exhaust.
It also has a Chevy 350 Auto Tansmission and Chevy np205 transfer case. It has new drive lines that were custom made.
I put in a Chevy Camero tilt steering wheel with ------- Steering Wheel.
It has a new instrument cluster with new gauges.
The heater is stock and has been restored.
I have cut out some of the floor that was rusted and welded in new metal.
I have changed the bench seat to new Chevy Silverado bucket seats.
The rear seat is a fold and tumble from a Jeep Wrangler.  I also put in rear seat belts.
It has a Tuffy Center console with a stereo slot.  I have a new Alpine Stereo for it (never installed).
The rear axle is a Dana 44 with disk brakes, and emergency break.  I also installed stainless steel brake lines on the rear.
The gas tank was removed and restored.  I used the POR15 Kit that is on the inside and outside of the tank, it will rust or fail you.
It has four new Pro Comp Shocks.
I have a custom rear bumper with a two inch receiver.
The battery is brand new and is located in the rear of the wagon.
It has two gas pumps one is macanical and the other is electrical.
The glass is all there and in good shape.
The headliner and door panels need to be replaced.
The body is in good condition with only minor surface fust.
The rear corner panels are in ruff shape.  The rear drop gate is also in ruff shape.  I have not done any body work on it, besides the floor.  There is no bondo that I'm aware of.
The cruiser starts and runs good.  I would not drive it across the country but I drive it all over Northern Utah.
I have several totes of extra parts for the cruiser and motor.
I will arrange to have it shipped any where in the world, buyer is responsible for all shipping.  You could also tow it with a truck any where you want.
My reserve is fair and I will not give out my reserve price.  If the high bidder comes close to the reserve I will sell the cruiser.
I will be out of town for some of the auction time, so I may be delayed getting back to your emails or questions.
I require $500 down and the rest upon pick up or shipping.
Thanks for looking and if you want more pictures let me know.

Reprising The Recipe For A Perfect Slice Of Toast
My toaster broke the other week. Halfway through the process of cooking my gourmet Pop-Tart breakfast, the thing crapped out with a small bang, leaving my delicious morning treats trapped inside. To rectify the situation, I ventured out to a big box store, located the toaster aisle, and ran a couple of questions through my mind. Do I need two slots or four? Do I need to spend more than 20 bucks on this thing? Should I just buy a toaster oven to give me a wider range of bachelor-pad cooking functionality? After no more than two minutes of contemplation, I grabbed the cheapest one on the shelf, paid and left the store. The new toaster works just fine.
This sort of unemotional shopping experience is how I suspect people decide to purchase the Toyota Corolla. It's a perfectly fine appliance, and to a good number of people in the world, the bond between a car and a driver is no more important than the connection I feel to my toaster. Does it seat four people relatively comfortably? Does it get decent fuel economy? Is it easy to drive? Reliable? Safe? The Corolla checks all of these boxes, and because of that, Toyota managed to move just under 300,000 examples of the tenth-generation car in 2012 (though that number does include sales of the Corolla-based, now-deceased Matrix) - a vehicle that, at the time, was already six years old.

Incoming Toyota chairman wants a Supra successor

Fri, 14 Jun 2013

We'd venture to guess that in recent years, there have probably been almost as many rumors swirling about a Toyota Supra successor than there have been for a mid-engine Corvette. (Case in point: the speculative renderings we came across a few years ago, pictured above.) While we don't expect the Corvette's recipe to change drastically any time soon, it looks like a Supra - or more appropriately a Supra-like car - could be closer than we think.
First, there was an announcement of a BMW-Toyota joint venture. Said venture would, among other things, "Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle."
Upping chances even further, a new Automotive News report claims that incoming Toyota chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada wants a vehicle "comparable" to the Supra. Clearly there are a lot of parties that want a new Supra to happen - to say nothing of enthusiasts - but Uchiyamada might be just the guy to get it done. None of this is proof positive of an impending Supra, to be sure, but winds do seem favorable.

Toyota recalling 11,200 Scion iQ models over faulty passenger sensors

Wed, 07 Nov 2012

Toyota has announced a voluntary recall of 11,200 Scion iQ models from the 2012 and 2013 model years. According to the manufacturer, the problem with these pint-sized hatchbacks concerns the front passenger Occupant Classification System (OCS) weight sensor cables.
The OCS sensors in the front passenger seat control the operation of things like the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioner. In these affected models, the cables for these sensors located in the seat track can become damaged as the passenger seat slides forward and backward. And if the cables are damaged, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioner may not function properly.
No injuries or crashes have been reported in conjunction with this issue.
