2008 Toyota Rav4 Limited Sport Utility 4-door 3.5l 4 Wheel Drive / Awd on 2040-cars
Bridgeport, West Virginia, United States
I am listing this vehicle for my sister.....and you will see her description below. Please ask any and all questions in a timely manner so I have time to relay them to her and get an answer back to you. I can attest that this RAV has been pampered. She has taken care of it and has spared no expense to keep it in fantastic condition. She has the title clear and free in hand and will be available immediately. She does drive it occasionally so the mileage may be slightly higher than listed but minimally. Bid with confidence.
I am selling my 2008 RAV 4, V6, AWD, in an effort to
simplify my life. I have 2 cars and truly only need one. This is a GREAT vehicle with just under 82K
miles. I had a
clear protecting film installed over the nose and mirrors to protect it from
damage from road debris (this does not photo well as it is nearly
invisible). I also opted to use
synthetic oil. While the upfront cost is
a bit more on oil changes, I've found it to be a benefit in my vehicles as oil
changes are significantly further apart.
This car isn't due for an oil change for another 8K miles. The tires are brand new. There are a few minor places in the finish of the
car I tried to take photos of them to
the best of my ability. As you can see
from the pictures, they are minimal. The interior of the vehicle is nearly
spotless. The leather is in excellent
condition. I installed OEM all weather
mats and also have the original carpeted floor mats. I live in a fairly hilly area and my commute is
primarily on the Interstate. I average
between 21 and 22 mpg. On longer trips
I've averaged as much as 27 mpg. Key Components: Mechanical & Performance ·

2014 Toyota Corolla priced from $16,800*
Tue, 27 Aug 2013We'll be publishing our First Drive of the 2014 Toyota Corolla later today, but right now, we can reveal that the eleventh-generation compact will be priced from $16,800 when it hits dealerships this fall (*not including a $810 destination charge).
Four trim levels will be offered, and that sub-$17,000 price point reflects the base L grade with a six-speed manual transmission. Adding the four-speed automatic (yep) brings that price up to $17,400, which gets you the usual features standard on this class of car, including Bluetooth connectivity, eight airbags and - a first for this price point - LED headlamps.
From there, the LE trim ($18,300) adds a backup camera, cruise control, keyless entry, Entune audio (including a 6.1-inch touchscreen) and a brand-new continuously variable transmission replacing the four-speed auto. There's even an Eco version of the LE trim that uses a different engine tune to provide fuel economy of up to 42 miles per gallon on the highway.
Toyota FT-86 Open Concept would make a mighty fine droptop FR-S
Tue, 05 Mar 2013There's nothing wrong with going topless. And Toyota is proving that its FT-86 (read: Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ) coupe is just as excellent with its roof removed. It may only be a concept, but this FT-86 Open previews a new droptop from the Japanese automaker to round out the Toyobaru sports car family. We're finally getting the chance to see the open-air FT-86 in person here at the Geneva Motor Show, and we're already yearning to take it canyon-carving.
Interestingly, the FT-86 retains the Toyota coupe's two-plus-two seating arrangement (we'd prefer a proper roadster setup here), but things still look good for this droptop two-door. We'll be curious to see how the car looks with its folding soft top in place (operated by fancy-shmancy electronics, by the way).
As for production intent, rumors have been flying about a production Scion FR-S convertible, but until we hear it directly from Toyota. Consider our hopes in check but our fingers crossed.
Toyota Tacoma helps stand up to your girlfriend, mimes, magicians and the Grim Reaper
Mon, 26 Aug 2013It takes a lot to get a product noticed in today's fast-paced world, but one avenue that's always seemed to grab the eyeballs of consumers has been humor. Toyota knows this rule well, and has put together a quartet of spots called "Tacoma Wins," in which the midsize pickup's features and specifications best a number of seemingly worthy competitors.
Whether it be sobbing girlfriends, a circus magician, a grim reaper or the scariest thing of all, a mime, the Tacoma looks well equipped to deal with it. Take a look below for all four of Toyota's newest spots.
