FOR SALE: 2008 TOYOTA RAV4 LIMITED 4WD V6
DESCRIPTION: 2008 Toyota Rav4 Limited 4wd V6. The vehicle has all options with the exception of leather seat trim and third row seat. The vehicle has every available power option including a power moonroof. The vehicle is also equipped with the upgraded JBL sound system. The vehicle is also equipped with the powerful and efficient 3.5 liter V6 engine and 5 speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy ranges from approximately 30 mpg on the freeway and mid 20's in town. The vehicle was purchased new at Sunshine Toyota in Battle Creek Michigan during July of 2008 and we are the original owners. The vehicle was maintained only by the Toyota dealer and all service records will be provided. I have a clear lien free title in hand. CONDITION: The vehicle has been garage stored it's entire life. The interior is in excellent condition and was professionally detailed this past month. There are minor scratches on the drivers side of the hood and the front bumper cover near the front license plate location. I think the scratches would buff out as they are minor and hard to see without close inspection. There are also some scratches on the middle of the spare tire cover. See photographs for details. Potential buyers are welcome to view the vehicle in Coldwater Michigan. Please contact me a day or so in advance to set up a meeting time. The remainder of the vehicle is in very good condition with all factory glass in place and chip free. The tires are 50% or less. I would estimate 12,000 tread life remaining. 2015 Toyota Sienna
Thu, 25 Sep 2014It's hard to love a minivan, but it's very, very easy to use one. More than any other kind of vehicle - save a panel van, perhaps - the minivan is the most appliance-like of four-wheeled transportation devices. And most minivan buyers don't need to love their purchases; they just need to use them. So when it comes to a minivan's driving dynamics, who cares?
Well, we do. So we perked right up when Toyota talked about refinements it made to the 2015 Sienna, starting with some 142 added spot welds made to the body structure. Normally not stop-the-presses stuff, but Toyota says the added reinforcements prompted Sienna engineers to recalibrate the springs and shocks for improved handling, and our very limited wheel time along the (admittedly benign) roads on the Big Island of Hawaii revealed the 2015 Sienna SE model's handling to be tidier and more engaging than you'd expect for a porky, 4,560-pound, eight-passenger box on wheels.

Toyota prices TRD Pro Tacoma, 4Runner
Fri, 01 Aug 2014Toyota is finally all set to drop more details about the upcoming off-road ready TRD Pro Series models of the 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra after first revealing them in February. These trucks and SUV might not get the big engine and other mods that desert-stormers like the Ford F-150 Raptor have, but they are still a nice step up over the stock versions. All of the TRD Pro vehicles come as 4x4 models with Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs in the rear, TRD front springs, skid plates, black wheels, retro-inspired "TOYOTA" badging and TRD-branded floor mats and shift knobs on the inside. They're available in three colors: Inferno, Attitude Black Metallic and Super White.
The Tacoma hits the market first in early August with prices starting at $35,525, plus $885 for delivery, processing, and handling, for an Access Cab V6 with a six-speed manual. Opting for a five-speed automatic brings things up to $37,390 after the destination fee. A Double Cab with a manual goes for $37,320, or $38,300 for the automatic, after the delivery charges. The 4Runner follows in September with just a single trim priced at $41,110 - $41,995 after the charge - for the V6 and five-speed auto.
Toyota is holding off on revealing more about the Tundra for now. It's coming in the fall, but the company isn't announcing prices yet. We don't have to wait long, though. "Within the next month we'll reveal that," said Toyota spokesperson Sam Butto to Autoblog about the TRD Pro Tundra's price.
Toyota gives up more information on Frankfurt-bound Yaris Hybrid-R concept
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Toyota has undeniably carved out a niche for itself as the industry's leader in hybrid propulsion. What started out with the original Prius in 1997 has, over the past sixteen years, ballooned to what Toyota reports as a global hybrid portfolio of 23 models. But few (if any of them) are particularly exciting.
That's where the Yaris Hybrid-R concept comes in. Set to be showcased along with the rest of Toyota's hybrid and fuel-cell lineup at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show next month, the concept starts with one of the Japanese auto giant's least exciting models and upgrades it to more enticing territory. Toyota Motorsport GmbH - the same Cologne, Germany-based division that operated the company's F1 team, currently runs its Le Mans program and gave us that bonkers 650-horsepower Lexus LS - has slotted in a version of Toyota's new 1.6-liter Global Race Engine and paired it with a couple of electric motors for hybrid propulsion and through-the-road all-wheel drive.
Like the TS030 Hybrid LMP1, the Yaris Hybrid-R concept uses a super capacitor (instead of a conventional battery) to store the regenerated brake energy and give it upwards of 400 horsepower. That's about all Toyota is revealing at this point, but this is the first time it has confirmed the project is based on a Yaris, of all things, and the confirmation comes with the solitary teaser rendering you see above.
