This is a 2004 Toyota Sequoia SR5. Third row seating. It has been school principal owned and cared for the last five years. Rear air and heat.
Maintenance with receipt included at 69,500 miles, added up to be a bill of $2,894.00 *8 new spark plugs... *New rack and pinion assembly *New steering pump with a steering system flush *New brakes and rotors all the way around *New serpentine belt *Transmission flush and filter *Coolant system flush *Fuel injection service *New center cap *Brake lines flush *New good year wranglers with a lifetime service warranty *Complete wheel alignment *New mighty battery *Full oil and filter,air filter service Towing package with a hitch, trailer light hook up, new spare wheel tire, fully detailed, hand waxed, carpet shampoo, and serviced as of 01/22/2014. The truck does acquire a salvage title due to wiring problem in dash causing minor problems. That was fixed by a certified dealership technician 5 years ago when we purchased it at 18,000 miles. It was hit by a vehicle and does have a dent in the back passenger side, which you'll see in the pictures. The cost to professionally fix is $750.00. Everything else works as it should. Other features include sliding back glass, side rails, motorized leather seats. The truck will come with a new set of tires with two hundred miles on them. The title is clear and ready to go. I have pictures of the tires, receipt as well. |

How Charlotte lost to Plano without even knowing it was dealing with Toyota
Thu, 08 May 2014With Toyota set to relocate its North American headquarters to the Dallas, TX suburb of Plano following a top-secret, 100-city search, the cities that missed out can now begin asking themselves what happened during a process they apparently knew little about.
That's a particularly brutal task for Charlotte, which, according to North Carolina's Secretary of Commerce, Sharon Decker, finished second to Plano. While Toyota has been fairly open about what it was looking for in a new headquarters city - direct flights to Japan, proximity to its US production facilities, a lower cost of living, high-quality educational facilities and finding a neutral site suitable to the California, Kentucky and New York-based employees that would be relocated - it's been less open about how the finalist cities, which also included Atlanta and Denver, stacked up against each other.
The Charlotte Observer has a few ideas. Part of the problem is the distinct lack of direct flights between Charlotte and Asia. US Airways, which operates a hub at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, doesn't fly to Asia.

And sometimes we pick eBay Finds of the Day, because they're hacked apart Toyota Prius' with Harley Davidson V-twin-power; concocted by the same mind that brought you innumerable Jalopnik articles and is partially responsible for the joy that is the 24 Hours of LeMons. This time it's that last one.
A fairly subtle tweet from long-time Jalop contributor and well-regarded grease monkey, Murilee Martin, hipped us to this crazy Frankenstein Prius. Built from the bones of a 2008 Toyota and the heart of a 1986 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883, the motive portmanteau is, well... it's a thing.
Toyota's advanced Hybrid Synergy Drive has been unceremoniously wrenched and snipped out of the engine bay, making room (via an artful hole in the hood) for the towering, bored out V-twin. Or, as the maestro himself puts it:

We're not sure the Toyota Aygo is necessarily one of them as much as, say, the Scion FR-S or Lexus LFA (especially since it's actually made in Europe), but for many Nipponophiles, the centuries-old artistic discipline of Manga certainly is. And now the two have come together in this two-and-a-half-minute animated short.
In Toyota's own take on the classic narrative, an Aygo animated by celebrated artist Sonia Leong takes on Godzilla. As in, a giant lizard rampaging through a Japanese city, not the Nissan GT-R, against which the little Toyota would certainly stand even less of a chance by any metric other than affordability, fuel economy or ability to park in tight spots.
