2004 Toyota Solara Se Convertible 2-door 3.3l on 2040-cars
Windermere, Florida, United States
This car is up for auction only because I need to resolve some of my finances. I bought this Solara a year and a half ago with an intension to keep it since Toyota does not manufacture this vehicle anymore and I know it definitely worth some money later year to come. I will post pictures in a day or two and any questions please feel free to contact me 407 272-0670 The car runs like new and the body no dents or damage inside and outside is in very good condition. The has been service at Toyota since I bought and all oil changes has been done by me directly. There is a reserve price that buyer would need to abide by, thanks. |

Heavily updated 2015 Toyota Camry to bow in New York
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Looks like the new, "more emotional" Toyota Camry designer Kevin Hunter talked about back in January is going to arrive very soon, with news that Toyota's bread-and-butter sedan will be getting an update in just a few weeks time at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
"On April 16 at the New York International Auto Show, we will make an important announcement about America's best-selling car, the Toyota Camry," said Curt McAllister, Toyota product news manager, in an emailed statement. Considering the high-profile nature of the NYAS - not to mention the competition that will be shown there - it makes sense that Toyota would choose to unveil something as significant as a major refresh at the Javits Center.
We wish we had more to tell you than this, but unfortunately, that's about all we've got to go on at this time. Of course, we'll have much more for you during the lead up to NYAS, including any leaks of the refreshed Camry. Stay tuned.

Toyota explains what names like Camry and Yaris mean
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Ever wonder where automakers get the names for their cars? You're not alone. The sitcom Seinfeld opened Episode 94 - the one where George Costanza buys a Chrysler LeBaron instead of a Volvo - with a bit about nameplates like Integra, Supra and Impreza. Toyota, clearly, is not exempt from choosing evocative but enigmatic names for its models, and now the Japanese automaker is taking us through the etymology of some of its nameplates.
Names like Supra may require no clarification, but what about Camry? That comes from the Japanese word kanmuri for Crown (which is, incidentally, the name of another Toyota sedan).
Yaris? According to the company, it's "an amalgamation of words from Greek mythology and German. In Greek mythology, 'Charis' was a symbol of beauty and elegance. Toyota swapped the 'Ch' with 'Ya' - German for 'yes' - to symbolize the perceived reaction of European markets to the car's styling."
