Well folks here you have it, a completly stock, unmodified 1992 Toyota 4x4. Very hard to find one in this shape. Truck has had only 2 owners, myself and my elderly parents that bought the truck brand new. From day one this truck has never been smoked in and has had Ziebart rust protection applied to it that is why you see very little rust on this truck. In the pictures you will see some rust behind rear wheels and a spot on drivers side front fender over tire. The tailgate has some rust at bottom, but I had a piece of black aluminum bent and stuck it on with double sided tape to cover as you can see in rear view picture, looks factory but wanted to mention. As you can see in the picture of inside of bed it looks great, bed has always had a bed mat in it but I just took it out for the pictures and it will be included in sale. Truck has orignal paint but the 1992 factory strips were removed because they did not like them as well as the Toyota letters across the back of tailgate. The motor runs great and transmission shifts as it should. I just installed a new radiator and front brake pads, tires have over 50% tread left. The Leer cap could use a new paint job. The underside of truck looks good also, but that is because of the sprayed on rust protection. The interior is very clean also and everything works as it should. Folks you will not be disappointed in this 21 year old truck with 138,000 miles on it. Pictures just do not do this truck justice please come by and take a look at this beauty. The truck has normal rock chips and small dings as a 21 year old truck would that is driven every day. If you have any further questions ASK BEFORE BIDDING NOT AFTER. And as always with anything used your buying as is where is. Truck is pick up only no shipping. $250.00 deposit through pay-pal with in 24 hours. Remaining balance due when picking truck up. Cash or personal check ( check must clear my bank before truck will be released). Other arrangments can be made if you contact me first.

Supra successor may be all-electric sourced from Tesla; MR2 returning too?

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

Rumors of a revival of the Toyota Supra and MR2 have been swirling for years right up until just this week when high-level Toyota employees all but confirmed their return.
But now The Detroit Bureau has put together news from different sources suggesting that the next Supra might be all electric. The report cites recent comments from Toyota senior executives hinting at plans to work with Tesla on a new joint project. The FT-HS Concept (shown above) seems a logical inspiration for a new Supra.
And on the other side of the equation is Tesla's design chief Franz von Holzhausen who was quoted last year saying his company was looking at its next project, probably a sports car, that would follow next year's intro of the Model X. He went on to suggest the car would compete directly with BMW's 3 Series, which, in coupe form, could be a worthy competitor to a Supra as well.

Next-gen Toyota Tacoma mule caught towing in the desert

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

With the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon set to arrive in dealers in the near future, it's high time Toyota got to work on a replacement for the Tacoma, a vehicle whose present generation debuted in the middle of the Bush Administration. Now, we have images of that new pickup undergoing testing.
Our spy photographers picked up this heavily modified mule undergoing tow tests in the desert. It rides on a modified version of the current Taco's frame, as evidenced by shots of its undercarriage, although our spies cite the lack of riveted sections as indications that the current truck's footprint should remain unchanged.
Aside from underbody changes, this particular Tacoma featured a six-speed manual transmission, which we're expecting to be joined by a six-speed automatic. The current four- and five-speed autos found on the current truck will almost certainly be killed off. Marching to the grave with those slushboxes will be the two-door Regular Cab body style. Our spies are expecting Toyota to focus its efforts on the larger, more accessible Double Cab.

2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro priced from $41,285*

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

Just a few weeks after announcing pricing for the first two members of its TRD Pro Series, Toyota has finally dropped the final pricing details on its new Tundra TRD Pro. Like the Tacoma TRD Pro, the Tundra will be available in two different body styles, with a more affordable Double Cab and a roomier Crew Cab.
Prices start at $41,285 for the former and $43,900 for the latter - not counting a hefty $1,100 destination charge - effectively slotting Toyota's off-road-ready model between the $41,730, Double Cab Limited and $46,465, Crew Cab-only 1794 Edition trucks.
As we've covered previously, the TRD Pro models come with a raft of off-road gear that should help combat just about any terrain a driver may stumble across. TRD-tuned Bilstein shocks and TRD-tuned front springs add two inches to the big truck's ride height while the black, 18-inch TRD wheels and available Inferno Orange paint add a bit of visual sass. A new TRD dual exhaust system is also standard, which can confirm sounds great (review coming soon!).
