Up for sale is my 1995 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab. It has the 4 cylinder engine, 4WD and is an automatic. The body is in great shape. A few scratches and minor dings here and there. The interior has worn extremely well, there a few minor stains on the carpet, but the seats have no major stains or tears present. Its the regular cab, so no back seat. The air conditioning is cold, the heat is hot, the 4WD works.

The truck runs and drives very well. I recently replaced the spark plugs and spark plug wires, changes the oil and flushed the coolant. Its been well maintained and is obvious. The truck starts up every time and runs just as you'd expect from a Toyota. The interior has a few minor rattles you'll notice every now and again, but that's to be expected in an older car. These engines and transmission are as stout as they come. Only 110k miles on the truck, which as anyone knows is next to nothing for a Tacoma.

It has a bed liner installed. The wheels are 3rd generation Toyota 4-Runner wheels w/ 31x10.5" BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A's. A very durable, very meaty tire. Loads of tread left on them as well.

No check engine lights are on. No over heating. Just a solid running, 4WD Tacoma. I have a clean title.

Toyota reveals Tokyo Motor Show concepts

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Toyota is getting ready for the Tokyo Motor Show later this month, and to tease us, the Japanese automaker has released photos and information about the concept vehicles it'll be bringing to the show. In all, there'll be five world premieres from Toyota (six if you split the Voxy and Noah minivan concepts), including some vehicles that'll be released in the near future, and others that need more time to incubate.
Let's get the world premieres out first. Toyota is a pioneer of gasoline-electric hybrids, but it's also pursuing hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles. The clearest indication of this is the FCV concept, a hydrogen-powered sedan in the same vein as the the FCV-R that will bow at the auto show. (Read more about the FCV, here.)
Other world debuts include the FV2 concept (pictured), a unique, one-seat future vehicle that emphasizes the "Fun to Drive" philosophy; the JPN TAXI concept, a next-generation taxi concept designed with Japanese hospitality in mind; and the Voxy and Noah concepts, next-generation minivans that differ most in exterior design cues and are scheduled to launch in the Japanese market in early 2014.

Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.

Toyota Camry, Lexus RX to get aluminum parts

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Ah, aluminum. The lightweight, strong material has long held a following within the premium ranks, but as Ford prepares to launch an aluminum F-150, the material is gaining acceptance among more mainstream automakers. Toyota is one such brand, with a new report indicating that the Japanese giant will add aluminum bits and bobs to some of its upcoming vehicles.
These won't be full, aluminum-intensive treatments like the F-150, however. Automotive News reports that an aluminum hood and liftgate will be coming to the 2016 Lexus RX, and following that, the Camry will get a bonnet built from Element 13 for model year 2018.
As AN points out, Toyota is no stranger to aluminum, using it in Japanese-built models like the Prius and Scion FR-S. The RX and Camry, though, will mark the first time the company's North American factories will use the material, and they'll do so on a significantly larger scale, owing to the higher volumes that the Camry and RX represent.
