2013 Tacoma 4X4 , One owner , I bought it new, added a mild 3" lift leveling kit , rides like stock, Goodyear Wrangler  285/75/17  tires, roughly 33" tall, 17" level 8 rims, added Kenwood touchscreen, DVD, Navigation, HD radio , steering wheel controls still works. Radio has bluetooth , can make phone calls, and stream music, plus has USB which can play music or movies. Radio receives HD channels and regular broadcast , added Sirius XM tuner.
Also added N-Fab Nerf  step bars.

Radio also has alpine PDX-9 , 5 channel amp to power up 2 10" alpine subwoofers behind the rear seat. Other speakers were changed as well , contact for details.

If by chance you dont car about the stereo upgrade , I will deduct $500 and remove the subwoofers and amp, But will leave Kenwood radio intact with XM.

Thats pretty much the things I changed from stock, Otherwise everything else is stock.

Truck came with the TRD Off Road package , Rear diff lock , A-trac, hill dissent, 3.73 gear ratio, skid plates , a/c outlet in bed.

Truck has fatory backup camera , which is also tied into the Kenwood radio , shows both places at once.

Truck is like new still just over 11k miles , always serviced at Toyota. Truck has NEVER been off road. I am a adult over 40 and take care of my vehicles , truck never has bugs left on it, waxed every 3 months , washed weekly as needed.
Never Wrecked , always babied, but I did manage to dent the tailgate on the top left side, see pics, very small, but just being honest. No other dents or problems. Nearly Perfect all around.
runs and drives great, tires are 95% or better. Interior no defects.

Buyer of this truck must be prepared for random people approaching you telling you "Nice Truck" , I get this alot when I stop for gas , even have people taking pics of it on several occasions.

Truck is SOLD AS IS , still under Factory Warranty.
I owe Toyota still for the truck , so title not in hand , but should not be a problem.

2014 Toyota Corolla gets marginal IIHS small overlap crash test score [w/video]

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

Toyota may have performed some major surgery on the 2014 Corolla, but that hasn't helped the Japanese automaker overcome tough new crash test procedures. The Corolla, Toyota's bread-and-butter compact sedan, managed only a Marginal score on the new small overlap crash test, which was just added last year.
Despite the low score, the Corolla performed well in the moderate overlap front, side, rollover and rear testing, which was enough to score it a 2013 Top Safety Pick. In testing in August, six of the Corolla's competitors earned the Top Safety Pick + award, for good or acceptable scores across the board.
According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Corolla's "Marginal" score was down to an "intruding structure," that could cause injuries to the lower left leg. There was also concern that in a collision, the driver's head would move after hitting the air bag, and collide with the A-pillar or dash.

Oh Buoy! Toyota sinks to Spongebob depths with custom Highlander

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

The launch of the 2014 Toyota Highlander is being assisted by Bikini Bottom's number one resident, SpongeBob SquarePants. The new crossover has been wrapped with SpongeBob's square mug all over it as if he's saying "I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready," from every direction. Inside is a cabin that Toyota says "captures all of the beloved character's high-octane energy," but might make you question whether this is really the world you want to live in.
Revealed on SpongeBob Day at the San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants baseball game in San Diego, CA on July 13, the Highlander will go from there to seven locations nationwide on a "Happy Driving Tour," ending at the LA Auto Show in November.
You can read all about it in the press release below, as well as ways to fill your life with more SpongeBob than is probably healthy.

Toyota reaches $1.2B unintended acceleration settlement in criminal probe

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

UPDATE: Just like that, Toyota has released an official statement confirming its $1.2-million dollar settlement with the US Attorney's Office. Our story has been updated to reflect this development and the automaker's official statement has been added below.
Toyota has reached a settlement over the criminal probe into its unintended acceleration problems, and the outcome is more expensive than first expected. The Japanese automaker has agreed to pay $1.2 billion to close the investigation among other settlement terms. The criminal inquiry focused on whether the company kept information from regulators and how it handled drivers' complaints about the problems, according to the sources.
Between 2009 and 2010, Toyota ended up recalling over 10 million vehicles worldwide over sudden acceleration fears. Fixes include modifying floor mats, gas pedals, and installing brake override software on affected models. In addition, Toyota made the latter standard on all of its new vehicles.
