I am the original owner and have meticulously maintained this 4x4 truck. Here is the list of goodies. New (2000/miles - Michelin LT2 tires (best all around rated tire for this truck...still under warrantee with Costco), TRD Off-Road package, Tailer-hitch and 2" ball setup with lock, Duraliner bed-liner, power leather seats with custom neoprene covers, brand-new spill-proof rubber matts front and back, alarm, key-less entry, 6-cd player (will include tape for plug-in of MP3/Iphone), fog lights, sunglass holder, 4 front cup holders, 12volt power plugs, wood-grain dash, and all other standard options. I recently had painted all 4 wheel guards, front bumper, and back gate. Truck has never been in an accident and have always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil for all scheduled maintenance. You will not find a better condition highway miles original owner title in hand 2002 truck whose A/C blows ice cold. Disclaimer...the drivers side front seat has some damage (center stitch needs to be restitched) I just put the neoprene cover and have not looked back they are awesome.

NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors

Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.
Toyota settles for $3M after being found liable in sudden acceleration case
Sat, 26 Oct 2013A jury has decided that faulty software was to blame for a crash involving a 2005 Toyota Camry that killed one woman and injured another. This is the first time Toyota has been found liable by a jury in a lawsuit involving sudden acceleration claims. Toyota has maintained that driver error is the most likely cause for cases of sudden acceleration.
Shortly after the jury in the case, which took place in Oklahoma and centered around a crash that injured 76-year-old Jean Bookout and killed her passenger, Barbara Schwarz, reached a verdict that would see Toyota paying $3 million in compensatory damages, a confidential settlement was reached. The jury, which had found Toyota liable for "reckless disregard" for public safety, had yet to decide what punitive damages Toyota would face.
Toyota said in a statement, "While we strongly disagree with the verdict, we are satisfied that the parties reached a mutually acceptable agreement to settle this case. We will continue to defend our products vigorously at trial in other legal venues."
Toyota maintains world's largest automaker crown, GM and VW close behind
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Toyota still holds the title of World's Largest Automaker. The Japanese automaker ceded the claim to General Motors in 2011 following a series of natural and man-made disasters that stifled production in Asia. Production is back up to full speed and, coupled with the introduction of a new Camry midsize sedan, Toyota retook the title in 2012 and has so far been able to keep it by selling 2.43 million vehicles in the first quarter of 2013.
The race is still tight - General Motors reports sales of 2.36 million vehicles, earning it the second spot globally with Volkswagen's 2.27 million sales nabbing the German automaker third place. It's not all smooth sailing for Toyota, either, as the brand's first-quarter figures were down 2.2 percent when compared to last year. GM posted a 3.6-percent gain and VW managed a 5.1-percent gain over the same period.
Sales in China may be a deciding factor as to which automaker performs best in 2013. Toyota's figures were down 13 percent in China. Meanwhile, GM and VW are continuing their upward trajectories in the crucial Chinese market.
