For Sale is our 2010 Toyota Venza All-wheel drive crossover. There are currently 43,200 miles on the vehicle, but it is driven daily.  We purchased the Venza in June 2010 at Montrose Toyota in Akron Ohio.  The Powertrain warranty is transferrable and is valid up to 5 yrs/60K miles. The Venza has never been damaged in an accident or otherwise.  The engine, transmission and all other electronics and mechanical parts in the vehicle are in 100% operating condition.

Our 2010 Toyota Venza is loaded. It is the V-6 all-wheel drive model. Starting at the front of the Venza, it is equipped with the optional Xenon HID headlamps, has the optional tow prep package which upgrades the alternator, radiatior and cooling fans to the heavy duty versions. The interior is tan leather with black piping on the seats. It is equipped with the JBL premium sound system with Navigation and an in-dash 6 CD changer.  It is Satellite radio ready and there is a USB and aux jack in the center console.  The rear seating is very spacious and the rear seats also recline.  There is a flip down rear seat DVD system with a remote and 3 pairs of wireless headphones. There is also a 120v outlet and A/V plugs for a video game console. There is a rear back up camera that is displayed on the navigation screen when in reverse. The rear liftgate is power and can be controlled remotely.

Our Venza is in very good condition and has been maintained as recommended by Toyota.  The oil is changed every 5K miles along with the tires being rotated.   I have all service records available.  Brake service was completed at 35K miles and as of the last service at 39,160 miles the brakes were L/F8B and R/R9B and the tires are currently all at 6/32nds.  That translates into plenty of miles before having to worry about brakes or tires!  I use premium gas in all of my vehicles to include the Venza.  Manufacturer's requirements only call for regular gas, but investing a little extra money for quality gas improves performance and increases the cars longevity.

There were two safety recalls completed on the Venza to include the hood latch sensor being replaced and the stop lamp switch was replaced.  The only warranty work completed was the rear right speaker was faulty and replaced.

The only thing that was added to the vehicle was a 35% window tint to the front windows which was matched the rear windows that came from the factory with window tint.  Its still transparent but keeps the vehicle cooler in the summer.

There is a current Pennsylvania inspection valid through November of 2013.  Please keep in mind that even though our Venza is in very good condition, it is still a used car and will have some normal wear.  Besides the manufacturer transferable powertrain warranty, the vehicle is being sold as-is.

We are available most days to show the vehicle.  I am located in Harrisburg, PA.  We are 1.5 hours west of Philadelphia, 2 hours north of Washington D.C. and 3.5 hours southwest of NYC.

Leaked Toyota FT-86 Open concept images preview droptop Scion FR-S [w/video]

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

Here it is, folks - the highly anticipated Toyota FT-86 Open concept, a precursor to what could become a road-going Scion FR-S convertible. A full smattering of images and video have leaked onto the internet, and thanks to the folks at FT86Club.com, we can now see the new hotness that Toyota will be unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
These images confirm details that were first seen in spy shots captured a couple of weeks ago - namely, the larger wheel/tire package and the inclusion of the Toyobaru coupe's decidedly useless rear seats. These new photos, however, show a two-tone leather interior with goodies such as an iPod/iPhone mount on the dashboard. The concept car is also fitted with the coupe's six-speed automatic transmission (boo!) and FT86Club.com reports that the folding soft top is operated electronically.
We'll have the full details live from Geneva in just a few days. For now, click through our attached image gallery to see lots of pretty pictures of the topless wonder, and scroll down for a video to see the concept in motion.

2015 Toyota Camry targeting 'more emotional' design

Sun, 19 Jan 2014

There are many ways to describe the Toyota Camry: "comfortable," "economical," "affordable," "reliable" and "dull as a bucket of mayonnaise" would all be accurate. It's this last one that the Japanese brand is seeking to change. While we aren't expecting it to suddenly sprout a high-revving V8, a rear-drive layout or razor-sharp handling, a report from Bloomberg suggests we should at least expect a more evocative design from one of the best-selling cars in the country.
The next Camry update, due for 2015, should have a "more emotional, more impactful design," says Kevin Hunter, head of Toyota's US design studio. That's according to Bloomberg, who caught up with the styling boss at this week's Detroit Auto Show. "Camry's taken some hits on styling, but it's still selling well. But we need to create better design for Camry in the future."

This first-gen Toyota Celica is one mean mother

Tue, 09 Jul 2013

Brian Karasawa's gen-one Toyota Celica is, in a word, badass. As a long-standing fan of the marque, the doting owner has tried to both restore and improve his Celica keeping period-correct modifications in mind. The 20R/22R mashup engine is outputting roughly 185 horsepower and graced with a lot of JDM-specific parts and modifications. Clearly, the exhaust has been upgraded from stock, as clips of the orange Toyota in motion are accompanied by one hell of a nice sound.
Tastes clearly vary, and there's not as much love for the first-wave of Japanese metal as there is for similar era American-iron, but we're pleased to see these cars finally getting more time in the spotlight. Scroll down below to see why we're stoked, and consider cruising your local Craigslist for late 1970s and early 1980s Japanese coolness (before we get there first).
