1974 Triumph TR 6 4 speed. Non overdrive. Very good over all condition. No radio. ( I like listening to the exhaust ) :)

Was sitting in my garage for about a year. Put in a new battery, fresh gas, and it started right up.

Runs and drives. Has lots of goodies. Newer stuff ( in the last two years) includes: Battery. Upper and lower front ball joints. Clutch, brakes, new rear springs and telescoping shock conversion.
Electronic ignition, Weber carbs, manifold adapters. ( I have both air cleaners, I just took one off for the photos)
Stainless header. Monza Exhaust. Spin on oil filter conversion. Was repainted three (?) years ago. Paint shows very well. There are some dings and a poorly touched up scratch on the passenger fender. I tried to photograph it but it doesnt show well. Seats and door panels were recovered. Carpets were replaced. Dash pad and all dash parts are excellent. Wood is a bit faded. Top is serviceable, but could stand to be replaced.  Has two cuts that were repaired after someone put the top down that didnt know how to do it.
Has a roll bar that is bolted to the body. Stiffens the car up a lot. Has seat belts. ( Sounds silly, but many times they are removed for a roll bar)

Also, If you want this stuff, Comes with an extra set of wheels and tires. Original Strombergs and manifold. Air cleaner. Extra 4 speed transmission. Rear brake drums. Extra cylinder head.
In short, good solid daily driver. Can be driven home.  With a little work could be a very nice car. All the tough stuff has been done.
Inspections welcomed. Very low reserve. I want to sell it. ( I have two) Please only bid if you intend to purchase, and have all needed permissions etc.
Bidders with no or low feed back, contact me first prior to bidding. Thanks, Mike

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
