Farm fresh I belive is the new phrase going around.

We do have a title on hand but it would need to be submitted to Mass. to get a new one.  Hopefully a bill of sale would be sufficient for this year vehicle in your state.

Original miles.  Clearly a parts or restoration opportunity.  Hasn't been on the road since late 80's.   I'm impressed with the condition of the interior.

Notes are

The last time it ran was about a year after I parked it. I drove it from Northboro and parked it behind the barn. After that for about the next year, I would go out and start it every once in awhile. That got old quick.

There is also a “child” hammock up top that clips in over the front seats for the kiddo in the family to sleep.

For years the  roof canvas was fine but in the last five or so the mice and moths got to it.

* People often send me offers through eBay's system without any prior communication. I don't know what I can sell a car for without knowing of the other expenses I might incur. For instance - Do you need me to pick you up at the airport? - If you need to use Pay Pal will you cover the fee's? - How long would you need me to hold the car before we could finish the transaction? etc. An email SMDWOODS@aol.com call or text (508) 523-2123 to discuss is always helpful.
I do have the car advertised locally. The time remaining on this advertisement has no bearing on when or for what price the car will be sold. If the listing indicates it has ended early, it is because the car has been sold.
I often deliver cars to folks in New England, New York, or States close by. I also have a www.uship.com account. If you would like an idea of shipping costs elsewhere please don't hesitate to ask. I also have arranged for many cars/ boats to be shipped to Canada and Oversea's.
I am located in North Brookfield MA. I can be available most anytime to show the car as well.
Thanks in advance for the interest! My contact info again. www.smdwoods.com SMDWOODS@aol.com (508) 523-2123 ~ Steve Woods

TN politicians may push to end VW incentives if plant goes union

Tue, 11 Feb 2014

Volkswagen's Chattanooga Assembly Plant is scheduled to vote on whether to unionize in the coming days, but Tennessee state lawmakers are threatening to deny future tax subsidies to the factory, if the vote is successful. The factory is currently the only Volkswagen plant worldwide that is not unionized.
The states's Republican lawmakers have been particularly vocal against the union vote. Tennessee state senator Bo Watson said during a press conference that VW would have a "very tough time" with future incentives if the vote were successful, according to Automotive News. Tennessee House Majority Leader Gerald McCormick said the "heavy hand" of the UAW is not welcome there. VW has drawn criticism from both sides because it has allowed both pro- and anti-union groups to speak to workers and hand out leaflets.
Roughly 1,500 factory employees will vote on whether to unionize from February 12-14. If successful, the Chattanooga factory would be the first in the US organized under a German-style works council system where white- and blue-collar workers directly negotiate factory issues with the company's management.

Volkswagen Golf Wagon caught completely uncovered

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

Without a lot of information to go with them, our camera-toting spies have captured some new images of a Volkswagen Golf wagon variant that is almost completely undisguised. In fact, the one piece of camouflage on the tidy wagon would probably have gone unnoticed to most casual viewers. Look closely at the rear three-quarter view of the car and you'll notice that the apparent taillight clusters are actually fakes - the outline of the real units is faintly visible behind the blue bodywork and the sticker-like fake taillights.
It's a good guess then, that this Golf wagon (called a Golf Kombi by our spy photographer) is a prototype that's pretty far along in the development cycle for Volkswagen. We can't be sure what impact this will have on the company's small wagon offering here in the US, but we'd be pretty surprised if something very like this didn't end up as the next Jetta SportWagen. We might well have more information on that front, after we visit Geneva next week.

VW pondering low-cost sub-brand for China?

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

More detail is being sketched into the Volkswagen Group's plan to launch a low-cost brand for emerging markets. Late last year a German report quoted a VW rep saying that the brand has been interested in building a no-frills car, the kind that would challenge Dacia and Datsun, for a while. With both Proton and Suzuki effectively out of the partnership picture, a report in Reuters suggests VW could go straight to China, developing a car with its joint venture partners and building and selling it there.
Officially, company CEO Martin Winterkorn said the issue of a model for emerging markets would be decided this year but VW isn't any closer to confirming any kind of plan for a car in its portfolio underneath the Up!, remarking to Reuters about the China possibility, "That's an issue we're currently looking at."
