We are selling a gorgeous 2005 Passat 4-Motion Wagon. This one is unique in the aspects that it a manual transmission, dark gray/black cloth seats, 1.8T, and a wagon.
It shifts perfect, has a new timing belt, water pump and tensioners installed, is fully serviced and needs nothing. The clutch is great, grabs really low and the front end is very tight, and the car rides smooth. It leaks no oil, and is not a car that you are buying that you will have to dump a ton of money into because of lack of maintenance. It is a turn key car, that you can get into and drive anywhere in the country without concern.
All options work on it. Including sunroof, A/C, power windows, locks, etc. The CD player also works great, and the car has awesome sound. This car is unique as it's not like a Passat that is loaded down with features. This is just a great, solid AWD Passat Wagon that is a Manual Transmission.
Here's the story behind this car:
We have a very busy / reputable repair shop in Nashville that specializes in European cars, and when we get downtime between jobs we buy cars that need repaired, fix them bumper to bumper, and sell them.
This car was bought, as what we believe was a theft recovery. The car had it's front bumper knocked off, and the passenger front airbag was deployed. The accident damage was very light, and I was surprised the car was totaled. There was no frame damage to the car, and the car is put back together like it came from the factory. All airbag components were installed and repaired properly, and the dash has no warning lights on and the front end is as straight as the day it came out of the factory. While we were repairing it, we fixed all the issues with the car including all maintenance it needed including a new timing belt, water pump, tensioners, etc.
I am very confident that anyone who buys this car, will be happy with it. You are welcome to come inspect the car, take it to your mechanic, or come see it in person. If you have any questions about it, please feel free to call 615-243-4372.

Volkswagen to add 50k jobs by 2018
Thu, 04 Apr 2013Volkswagen still has its eyes set on becoming the top global automaker by 2018, and to get there, it's apparently going to need more boots on the ground. Automotive News Europe is reporting that VW is looking to increase its staff by 50,000 over the next five years - an increase of nine percent - which does not include an increase in its US dealer network.
According to the report, a majority of the growth will come from China where the automaker is also looking to double its production capacity in the same time frame. The Volkswagen Group is already expected to rival General Motors for the top sales spot in China this year, and such a rapid expansion in the region could make a good springboard for sales increases in other countries.
Porsche-Piech buy 10% stake in VW's holding company
Tue, 18 Jun 2013In August, 2009, as the scuttled merger of Porsche and Volkswagen had gone bad and Porsche was backed up against the ropes, Porsche Automobil Holding SE (PAHSE) relinquished a ten-percent stake in itself to Qatar Holdings as well as options it held on 17 percent of VW shares. The sale meant that, for the first time since the founding of the company 61 years before, an entity outside the Porsche and Piech families had a say in the running of PAHSE.
Buying that ten-percent stake back returns full ownership to the two families, the holding company's sole possession being ownership of 50.7 percent of VW's common shares. The price paid wasn't disclosed, but at market rates the purchase would be worth close to $1.25 billion. Qatar intends to hold onto the 17-percent stake it has in Volkswagen.
Chrysler and Fiat offering $1,000 rebates to VW owners as Marchionne gets tough
Mon, 10 Dec 2012The throw-down between Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne and Volkswagen has heated up in earnest. According to Bloomberg, Fiat and Chrysler are now offering current Volkswagen owners in the US $1,000 rebates to trade in their ride. It's the latest in a series of shots Marchionne has taken at his German rival. As you may recall, the Fiat executive entered into a spat with Volkwagen board chairman Ferdinand Piëch and CEO Martin Winterkorn in October after the duo called for Marchionne's resignation from presidency of the European Automotive Manufacturers Association (AECA). At the time, the Volkswagen executives were quoted as saying Fiat would not survive the European economic downturn.
In response, Marchionne called the German executives "reprehensible," and accused Volkswagen of using a pricing strategy that has created created a "bloodbath" in the EU. Volkswagen has taken to steep discounting to carve out ever-larger slices of market share in Europe, but the company has a much smaller foothold in the US. Marchionne may be trying to hit Volkswagen where the manufacturer is weakest with the new Fiat new incentive program.
Late last week, the Fiat executive was voted to a second term as ACEA president.
