Volvo S60 2.5t 2004 Turbo 4 Door Sedan Low Mileage Great Condition on 2040-cars
Silverado, California, United States
This is a very clean and low mileage car for anyone that is looking for a reliable ride at a very reasonable price. This car has little over 77 thousand miles on it. This is almost unheard of. My wife owned this car for the last five years and took excellent care of it while only putting on the average of five thousand miles a year. I took it in for a service last week and put a brand set of tires on it and did a oil change and a full inspection done to it. It is ready to ride. As you can see in the pictures, it looks amazing. There are some spots on the hood and roof of the car that I tried to show in the close up photos. It looks like a hail damage but they are very subtle.
It has a clear title and it is registered in California. This car can be picked up by the buyer. Buyer will pay for the shipping if they choose to do so. Volvo’s best selling line, the 2004 Volvo S60, comes with a 2.5-liter engine with automatic transmission and an optional sunroof. The 2.5-liter as a 208 horsepower turbocharged line 5-cylinder. ABS brakes, traction control, front side airbags and head protecting curtain side airbags are standard. |

Volvo XC40 delayed because it's too big for its own good?
Thu, 11 Jul 2013As fuel prices rise and greenhouse gases poke holes in the ozone, big, gas-guzzling sports utility vehicles are becoming less popular as smaller, cleaner vehicles, such as crossovers, gain market share. Volvo is late to the small crossover party, though it wants to build the XC40 crossover to compete with the Land Rover Evoque. The only problem with that, Autocar reports, is that a suitable (read: small enough) platform for it is up to five years away, despite a hopeful photos of it in testing guise.
Volvo is currently developing a new platform, called SPA (Scaleable Platform Architecture), to underpin its next-generation of vehicles, such as the 2014 XC60 pictured above and the S60 sedan, which is likely the smallest vehicle that would be able to use the new platform. Furthermore, there doesn't seem to be a quick fix for the gaping hole in Volvo's lineup, and Geely, the Chinese budget car manufacturer that owns Volvo, is reportedly preparing to launch a mid-market brand that may or may not be sold outside of China.
Can't Swedish car manufacturers catch a break?
Watch Polestar talk about the development of its super S60
Fri, 03 May 2013Polestar is getting ready to deliver its first production car, the Volvo S60 Polestar. Letting the S60 stretch its legs, Polestar Racing driver Robert Dahlgren took the blue sedan from Barcelona, Spain to Jokkmokk, Sweden - stopping for wet-weather testing in Germany along the way.
Dahlgren narrates the journey of the "pilot project" that has 350 horsepower and around 368 pound-feet of torque, and will perhaps be the first in an era of hardcore Volvo production cars. It will go on sale in Australia this Summer, with other markets "under investigation." While we non-Aussies wait with fingers crossed, there's a video below to enjoy.
2013 Volvo C30 R-Design Polestar Limited Edition [w/video]
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Last Hurrah Comes and Goes In A Hurry
It isn't very often that we drive a new car that's already out of production, but that's exactly what has happened with this 2013 Volvo C30. After just five years on the North American market, the last C30 quietly rolled off the assembly line back in December. But before that happened, Volvo decided to send its compact hatchback out on a high note with a little added performance and exclusivity courtesy of this R-Design Polestar Limited Edition model.
The term "hot hatch" is admittedly tossed around a lot these days, but the combination of an R-Design styling package coupled with a good number of extra ponies under the hood should be more than enough to put the C30 in the mix with the likes of the Volkswagen GTI and its not-too-distant cousin, the Mazdaspeed3. The chief problem with the Polestar Limited Edition, though, is that it's priced against sportier all-wheel-drive compacts like the Golf R and Subaru WRX STI, so we decided to spend a week with the Polestar to see if its exclusivity and performance are enough to make up for its higher price tag.
