This Volvo S80 is the car you hear about, yet never seem to be able to buy because someone always beats you to it -- an affordable, all-wheel drive luxury car that still looks and smells new.
This car runs, drives, and performs beautifully!! It is one of those cars that just feels as if it has led a pampered life, evidenced by its fresh non-smoker interior and recent major service at 113,522 miles which included a timing belt, water pump, tensioner replacement (see photos for receipt).
The near-flawless exterior wears all of it's original paint, and of course this car boasts a squeaky clean CarFax. It currently sits on 4 blemish-free wheels with near-new tires. All of the interior accessories function, and there are no warning lights illuminated on the instrument cluster. Any Volvo enthusiast knows that in addition to it's rarity as an All Wheel Drive S80, having been driven respectfully and serviced properly, it is still in the infancy of its road-going lifespan.
The seats, carpets, door panels, headliner and dash are all blemish free and need no attention other than to be enjoyed. The purchaser of this vehicle can expect a turn-key car that can be picked up at our dealership with the intention of driving absolutely anywhere. It includes a new Pa State Safety and Emission inspection. Additionally, for non-PA residents, we will gladly guarantee our Volvo to pass your State inspection requirements.
If you find this car interesting, please take an extra minute to examine the photos carefully-the interior and exterior are exceptionally fresh. This is a car that anyone would proud to own and drive while embracing the safety and roadworthiness that only an all wheel drive Volvo can deliver!

Volvo confirms V60 Sportswagon engine lineup for US
Fri, 13 Sep 2013
In addition to revamping its entire 2014 lineup, Volvo has already promised us that we'll be getting the V60 wagon early next year, but now the Swedish automaker has confirmed that sexy wagon will go on sale in January. If that's not good enough for you diehard station wagon models, there's even better news: An available R-Design model will be the "fastest and most powerful wagon in Volvo history."
The V60 R-Design will have a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine under the hood producing 325 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. Other engines available in the wagon will include the company's well-regarded turbo inline-five along with a new turbo inline-four wearing the Drive-E name. Volvo says Drive-E can "offer the opportunity" to add electrification, but there's no word as to whether or not the US will receive a V60 plug-in model. Also not yet released are fuel economy, vehicle specs and pricing. More information about the V60 and its powertrains are available in the official press release posted below.
Volvo demos autonomous self-parking car concept
Thu, 20 Jun 2013A number of companies are developing autonomous vehicle technology - Google and Audi come to mind - but Volvo is applying its work in the area to a particular usage case: parking. The Swedish automaker has the technology up and running in a concept vehicle, which it says can be dropped off at the curb by its owner and left to its own devices to enter and navigate a car park, then find and park in an available parking spot. Volvo says the process can even be reversed when the owner is ready to go, with the car leaving the car park on its own to meet its key-holder again at the curb.
The vehicle first interacts with Vehicle 2 Infrastructure technology, which places transmitters in the road itself to inform the car (and driver) if the self-parking service is available. The driver then hops out, activates the Self Parking function on his or her smartphone and then leaves the car to do its work. The car uses sensors, all seemingly hidden from view (an advancement of its own in this field), to autonomously navigate the car park, which includes interacting and adjusting to other cars, people and objects.
The technology used here builds off of Volvo's other work in autonomous vehicle research, namely the Safe Road Trains for the Environment (SARTRE) project in which the company managed to create a train of four cars autonomously following a lead truck at speeds up 56 miles per hour. Volvo says the first application of its autonomous research in a production vehicle will happen at the end of 2014 with some level of autonomous steering available in the next-generation XC90. See the system in action by watching the video below.
Turn up your speakers for this Shelby-powered Sunbeam Tiger and friends
Wed, 18 Jun 2014Most of us are never going to be like Jay Leno and drive a new car every day. However, it's possibly affordable to collect a handful of vintage rides, especially if you look a touch off the beaten path. In recent video, Petrolicious highlights Hans Abrahams, who is doing just that. He has three 1960s, European classics that love to be driven.
The absolute star of the trio is a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger. In the cabin, it has the meaty growl of a muscle car, but outside it has a little of the raspiness of period European cars. Abrahams says its mostly original except for its Ford 289-cubic-inch (4.7-liter) V8 with Shelby parts, producing around 273 horsepower. He says it's a bit difficult to maintain and hard to keep cool, but when you hear it, you know the trouble is worth it.
Next up, is Abrahams' 1965 MGB that is a bit of a monster in its own right. It lacks the Tiger's oomph under the hood, but it's loud enough to blow out Petrolicious' microphone. It's still a very cool little roadster.
