The GTO was the brainchild of Pontiac engineer Russell Gee, an engine specialist; Bill Collins, a chassis engineer; and Pontiac chief engineer John DeLorean. In early 1963, General Motors' management issued an edict banning divisions from involvement in auto racing. At the time, Pontiac's advertising and marketing approach was heavily based on performance, and racing was an important component of that strategy. With GM's ban on factory-sponsored racing, Pontiac's young, visionary management turned its attention to emphasizing street performance.

MotoeXotica is pleased to present yet another beautiful Pontiac GTO Convertible with a 4 speed transmission. This particular GTO has benefited from some restoration work, was annually driven by the previous owner and only has 10,000 miles since restoration. This solid car is ready to drive anywhere and anytime with plenty of confidence.

Recently repainted in the original Reef Turquoise, the paint on the car is in excellent condition showing extremely minor imperfections. The body is exceptionally solid. The GTO does have the classic Ram Air hood that Pontiacs are known for. The white canvas convertible top is in excellent condition, only showing very minor staining and is fully functional. The GTO received new chrome bumpers and they look excellent! The door handles and headlight bezels show minor pitting but overall, the chrome still shows very well! This is an exceptionally beautiful GTO!

Inside, you will find that the interior has been completely restored and is finished in the correct Parchment vinyl, which looks excellent, showing no notable imperfections or wear. The door panels look great, as does the black carpet. The dashboard looks original, which only shows minor imperfections and houses updated Rally gauges. The steering wheel has been updated to an Westville Wood steering wheel. To make summertime cruises more comfy, an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD player head unit and speakers have been installed.

The window sticker shows that this was an original Tri-Carb set up. It now has a single Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and intake. Unfortunately, we do not have the original set up. Attached to the engine is a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission. The GTO sits upon a set of 14” Rally II wheels, wrapped in 215/70R14 tires that really set off the muscle car look. Also beneath the GTO sits a 355 posi rear end.

There is one last, very special thing about this particular GTO: it comes with a copy of the original window sticker from Pontiac Historical Society. The VIN to this beautiful, turquoise convertible is 242676B132646 and the mileage currently shows 32,680. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!

This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Missouri law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through Ebay or otherwise. Sorry, but in all fairness to the bidding process, I will NOT disclose my reserve price until the auction has ended.

Payment Terms
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Once a car is picked up from our premises, you will NOT be able to return the car.

Overseas shipments will be placed into a steel container for safe sea passage. We take care of all the details and paperwork. All you have to do is collect the car at port and enjoy!
