"1972 was the last year that mid-sized Skylarks were produced. When they were produced, they sported improvements that the previous models had not known, such as the many pollution controls added to the engines, and new features that allowed the engines to handle a variety of different fuels. These improvements helped make the '72 Buick skylark conveniently economical, and therefore extremely popular among middle-class Americans."

This is the kind of car we love to find.  Not a show car, but a very well taken care of original with some cosmetic and mechanical improvements over the years.  Please let all the pictures load, (there are over 120) to see the very nice condition of this classic Buick.  According to the current owner this car has been in the family since new and with the exception of the Buick Rally wheels, carburetor, intake manifold, aftermarket stereo and maintenance items over the years it's all original and has not been restored.  The engine is the original 350 small block mated to the original automatic transmission.  It has power steering, power brakes and factory air conditioning.  The body, paint, exterior chrome and trim are original and in great shape. The undercarriage is solid and clean, the interior is original. The car runs and drives terrific and all features are fully operational. For all the car guys out there, what follows are the details;
