Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this 1981 Firebird/Trans Am clone that is in good driver condition and priced to sell. This Firebird has been tastefully restored with a professional repaint, new interior, custom wheels, Trans Am touches, with a nice running 403 engine. It looks good, runs well, and is fun to drive,. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Firebird that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come. This deep blue over black interior is an excellent compliment to the car. Please peruse all of the photos below to get a true sense of this Firebird.

Exterior

The blue exterior is in nice condition with a recent professional repaint and new Trans Am decals applied minus hood bird. This Firebird has received some very tasteful Trans Am touches including: Shaker hood with functional shaker, smoothed in fender vent extractors, rear spoiler, front and back smoothed in wheel flares, and TA decal package. As one can see in the photos, the paint has a nice gloss, good shine, and smooth finish. Often many Firebirds will have particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not. Both bumpers are in nice condition with great shine and no cracking. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There are some small blemishes that were too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from five or ten feet away. There are also some swirl marks, which are more visible in direct sunlight, that we think could be buffed out and some light scratches on the windows. The left mirror glass is a bit loose in the housing. The tires have decent tread and are sized 255/50/17. The Weld Racing wheels are in good shape and shine nicely. The car was missing one wheel center cap in the photos. We have since found a very similar replacement so the car now has 4 center caps. All of the weather stripping is in great usable condition. The trunk is solid with a correct trunk mat and new trunk seal.

Interior

The black interior of this Firebird looks splendid. The seat covers have been professionally replaced with a soft leather like material and are in excellent condition and show no wear. The original dash pad has a newly installed dash cap and is in great shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. A new two post stereo was recently installed; most importantly the original dash was not cut for the installation. The Carpet is in good condition with no major stains. The professionally covered door panels look great with no cracks or splits, and both door pulls are solid and in tact, and the door cover material matches the seat covers. As you can see in the photos, the two center a/c vents are missing some of their flaps. The headliner is in great shape with no sagging and the package tray has been recently recovered. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Firebird seems to be in good mechanical condition. This Firebird comes with several bolt ons added to the 403 Engine such as: Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition, Edelbrock Carb., Headers, and 3" exhaust. This Firebird is nice driver that feels great on the road and highway speeds. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs well. The car shifts well and drives nicely. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. There are some items on the car that do no work such as the a/c system, which has been disconnected, and the blower. Please note that none of these items affect the drivability of the car. There may be other needs with the car that we have overlooked so we would once again suggest any future buyer look at the car in person if possible. The gauges work as do the power windows, though their fit is not perfect, wipers, turn signals, horn, and radio. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the aggressive and healthy tone from the exhaust.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1981 Firebird/Trans Am Clone is in nicely restored driver condition. It is a great value and we have it priced to sell. This car turns heads and gets tons of attention wherever it goes. The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent years. They are all solid investments for a collector or the average enthusiast. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
