Here is a very nice 1976 BMW 2002, 2.0 liter with 4 speed manual. ALL original car with one re-paint, no modifications other than the Alpine radio. Excellent original interior! No evidence of any accident damage, the body lines are true. The car drives well and is very solid on the road.  Overall this car is in very good condition, and is ready for your immediate enjoyment. I have been driving this car everyday to work for the last two weeks, It is a joy with no bad habits.

Body and Frame: 

-No accident damage anywhere.

- Just replaced the rear shock towers with whole inner wheel houses from a donor car. A very strong and correct replacement of this troublesome area.

-Paint was redone in 2005, in the original white. Car has been garage kept since, paint is a 7.5 out of 10. No dirt or fisheyes in paint. A few very small chips that I touched up. Please review the pictures.

-Trunk is rust free, solid, and has original spare tire and jack.

-Floors and frame rails: There were two small areas at the front foot wells which were repaired by the former owner, patched from the inside, and undercoated, very solid. The “pedal pod” is very solid. Rear foot wells are totally solid. Rear frame wells original and solid. Shock towers replaced. Left rear rocker replaced. (see pics of the underbody) Overall nothing to address.

-All chrome trim and stainless is present, and of good quality.

- Glass is all excellent with no chips.

-Bumpers look original and are in VG condition.

-Wheels are BMW original; tires are New Radials. 

Mechanical:

 -Car drives nicely, very smooth and solid feel, goes down the road straight, brakes work fine. Steering is smooth and tight, and easy with the big wheel. I drive it up to 70 mph and it has a very solid feel. The 2002 cars are really fun to toss around!

-Engine starts right up and idles smoothly, revs easily to redline, no leaks. Underside of engine is dry. Has original rebuilt carb. Runs cool. Males no smoke under acceleration or deceleration. Uses no oil.

-Manual 4 spd trans shifts smoothly, no cruncy syncros, very smooth easy clutch.

-New brakes, hoses, and brake cylinders all around. Car stops awesome for manual brakes.

-New exhaust, and new tires.

Interior: 

-Seats were covered by sheepskins for the last 30 years, so they are in exceptional condition, carpet original and clean, head liner original and has no cuts.

-Has high end Alpine stereo/CD with 4 speakers, sounds awesome!

-Manual sunroof works great and has no leaks.

-Retractable Seat belts work fine

-Dash has no cracks, in amazing condition, garage kept car.

-All gauges work fine

-All exterior lights and turn signals work fine.

-Heat and ventilation system works fine.

-Steering wheel is original, no cracks, horn works.

Pickup or Delivery:

You are welcome to inspect the car before the auction ends. We can ship to Europe, if you arrange for shipping and pickup. Will deliver the car to the Baltimoreport for a fee of $250. Please feel free to contact Doug at 610-350-8594with any questions before bidding. The $500 deposit can be paid via paypal, with the balance wire transferred. I do not accept the balance on Paypal due to the high fees.

Vechiles are sold as is, where is. I make every attempt to fully describe the cars, and disclose known issues. Please make financing arrangements prior to bidding, as the winning bidder will be expected to provide a $500 PayPal deposit in 2 days, and pay for the balance within 7 days.

I do not accept Paypal for the balance, only the deposit. Usually, a standard Bank Wire Transfer works best, and I will supply those details after I receive your deposit. Please call if you have any questions prior to bidding.

We have shipped cars all over the world, and will make every effort to assist buyers with their shipping needs. The buyer will have direct responsibility for hiring and managing the shipping company. We will deliver cars to the Baltimore Md. port  for shipment overseas, for a $350 fee.

I do not charge any extra fees on vechile sales.  State sales tax is paid in the state you reside, when you register the car there.  If you are a PA buyer, you will pay the sales tax when you register/title the car. We can do this at a nearby title service when you come to pick up the car.  If you need a 30 day PA transit tag, they charge $45 for this at the title service.
