This auction is featuring your next great project! This 1966 Pontiac LeMans could be the pride and joy of your collection. Pontiac's own exclusive Overhead Cam 6 cylinder, that was for a time, the most sophisticated engine ever produced by General Motors, the brainchild of John DeLorean.This one was resurrected from the southern desert of Arizona and is currently sitting in Northwest Phoenix. This solid 2 door hartop has premium bucket seats, 3 Speed manual transmission, and an unbelievably solid frame. The car looks relatively complete and ready to be a trophy getting clone. The best part is you can make a desirable GTO 4 Speed Clone.

The Great...

This is overall a 80% to 90% complete car. The clutch pedal is there! You are buying this because a majority of the underbody and frame is excellent. I would also say that the body is pretty good, there are some imperfections on both sides that will need a little straightening; the front fender is pushed in a little bit, the driver's door got popped in one spot and looks like an old dent that was filled by 1/16" and cracked. The car's paint finish is baked, but you are restoring this one anyways! You will not have to spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars welding in floor pans, frame patches (as you know these were notorious for rotten frames), etc. The OHC 6 cylinder / 3 Speed Manual, 230 ci / 165 hp, looks 85% to 90% complete, not running but not stuck, we can't confirm if it is numbers matching. The altenator is missing, and maybe some other odds and ends. The bucket seats will look good after they are recovered.

The Good...

There are only a few minor problems, the dents mentioned above; the right and left rear wheel has some small holes and pinholes; you will also see a typical hole in the right and left front fender; the left rear quarter also has a hole starting; the trunk has some holes and not worth replacing the entire pan. These are very small problems to have. The front bumper is ok no holes, but is tweaked a bit on right side and needing plating. The rear bumper is dented (not sure if you can save it) and needing plating. The motor looks pretty complete (except for altenator) and is freed up and could have the potential to run, keep in mind the carb will most certainly need a rebuild. The transmission looks intact, but the driveshaft is missing. The glass is all there, a little aged and some scratches, and the windshield and rear window are good

The So So...

Every plastic or vinyl piece in the interior is absolutely baked and dusty as most desert cars end up. Everything looks to be there but you will have some work to do. The existing could be helpful for patterns. The headliner rods are there as well. Most of the stainless is good that is there. Various trim letters are missing.

The "You Need to Know"

This car is "non running" Tow Away Only, As Is with No Warranty, with no brakes, and unfortunately no keys. The title is a clear Nevada title, marked as exempt on the mileage, however the dash reads 42,386. The vehicle is located in Phoenix, AZ near Cave Creek Rd. and Bell Rd. You may view the vehicle by appointment virtually anytime. If you have any doubts about this car, the pictures and description do not answer your questions, you need to ask the questions or inspect the vehicle in person BEFORE you bid.

At Close of Auction

Wisconsin Residents will have to pay sales tax and titles fess, as we are Wisconsin Automobile Dealers. International Buyers and residents of Arizona or the other 48 states are responsible for paying tax, title, and registration fees! The buyer is responsible for titling the vehicle promptly following the auction, there will be no lost title problems.
The successful "winning" bidder must telephone me within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.
Full payment must be received within 7 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by cashiers-check or cash (In-Person). If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.

My Guarantee

I have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle and aim to be up front and honest, as mentioned "to the best of my knowledge". However, we recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector. Prior to delivery, if such inspection reveals a substantial discrepancy between the information contained in the listing and the actual vehicle, I will correct the problem where possible or work out a compromise.

Shipping

I will assist with shipping arrangements however, the buyer pays all shipping costs. I am not responsible for the condition of the vehicle, once you or a shipping company has taken possession. I do not have any affiliation with, or interest in, any transportation companies and all questions or concerns should be addressed directly with them.
