1998 Pontiac Trans Am

LS1 V8 - Automatic Transmission

 

Up for bid is a nice 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. This car has 153,000 miles on it and other then the upgraded WS6 Rims it is all stock. Many of these cars fall into the hands of people that modify the heck out them however this one was just used as a driver. The trans was rebuilt at 138,000 miles and it starts right up all the time, has plenty of power, and no smoke or knocking from the super reliable LS1 engine. With a little bit of work someone is going to have one heck of a car! The car shows pretty well for its age/miles and has never had any accidents. Clean Title is in hand.

The little details (Flaws) everyone wants to know:

On ebay everyone describes their car as "Perfect"...there is no such thing as a perfect car. To avoid any disappointments I will try to describe all known flaws.

Mechanical: Rear end makes noise at speed (probably needs a bearing or to be serviced), Antenna does not go all the way down, A/C does not work, Driver Sunvisor is detached, Security Light on the dash is always on.

Cosmetic: Some paint flaws, driver rear 1/4 panel has a 4" touchup paint mark some circular paint damage, previously smoked in, Driver seat bolster is worn, dash has a crack near center vents, rear seat has a split on the top (Please see the pictures below of the cosmetic flaws)

Payment & Terms:

Please do not bid if you do not intend to complete the transaction. Pre-purchase inspections are welcomed. Ask your significant other, be sure you have the garage space, make sure financing is in place prior to placing a bid. High bidder must make contact within 24 hours. Bidders with less than 5 positive feedback please contact me prior to bidding. A 50% deposit is due within 3 days and the full balance is due within 6 days from when the auction ends. The car and title will be released once all good funds are received. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. If you need to have the car transported it is no problem to work with your shipping agent. Please note: I have the title in-hand to this car and I am a legitimate seller. Car is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
