MotoeXotica Classic Cars is eager to present the stunning Italian Classic you see pictured. This GTSi in particular is a low mileage, extremely documented and incredibly well cared for car! This Ferrari spent 27 years garaged in the dry state of California before moving to sunny Florida where it was also garaged. Since 2007 only 4,100 miles were carefully driven on this prancing horse over the last 7 years, only 590 miles a year! It’s not very often that an iconic sports car of this caliber becomes available that has been loved as much as this one has.

The Ferrari 308 GTB/S is a mid-engine sports car that was manufactured in Italy in the 70s and 80s. The targa topped 308 GTS debuted in ’77 and was made famous on “Magnum, P.I.” In 1980, Ferrari added “state of the art” (at the time) Bosch K-Jetronic Fuel Injection to the GTSi.

This handsome Ferrari is finished in Nero Black with no major scratches or blemishes to the finish. The first owner paid a hefty $10,000 to have the car professionally repainted to the highest standards and it still shows today. The headlights are in awesome shape and are crystal clear. The car sits aggressively upon a set of period correct 16” aluminum BBS wheels wrapped in Z-rated Pirelli tires. The entire body is steel, which was a drastic change from the fiberglass bodies on the GTS models from ’75-77. The body is exceptionally solid and in excellent shape due to being so tediously cared for its entire life.

The original Light Saddle Italian leather interior is in good shape with no stitch separation or fraying. There is typical wear on the driver’s side bolster due to being driven regularly. The air conditioning is currently inoperable. This vehicle has an updated Top Speed Performance catalytic converters installed and we have been told that they are 50 state compliant. Other than that, the Ferrari has had updated fuse blocks installed to keep all electronics in good working order, the ignition system has been serviced and the rear brakes were recently rebuilt in 2012.

The rear mounted 2.9L V8 engine is equipped with the Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system and mated to a 5-speed manual all synchromesh transmission. The GTSi runs and shifts smoothly, as you would expect any international automotive icon to do! The car comes with a lengthy service history, totaling over $30,000. The timing belt service was most recently performed at 33,500 miles to ensure that this sexy little sports car stays in tip top shape. Included in the purchase of this car is the original Owner’s Manual, the original Ferrari Factory Congratulatory Letter, the rarely seen factory tools and a squeaky clean Auto Check! There are also two personal letters from previous owners about their first hand experiences with the 308, records of what has been done to the car ($10,000 in paint, $20,000+ in repairs/parts, $900 for distributor rotors, many maintenance records). These letters alone give you an insight into where the 308 has been and how it was cared for since leaving the factory!

This powerful Ferrari GTSi is ready for its next chapter (and new garage!). The VIN is ZFFAA02A2A0032619 and the mileage currently shows 37,492, which is believed to be original. It is being sold on a clean and clear, actual mileage Florida title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
