What makes it a NISMO? I'm glad you asked. This vehicle is powered by the 3.7L, double overhead camshaft (DOHC), sequential multipoint fuel injection (SMPI), 24-valve VQ V6 engine. The engine features variable valve event and lift (VVEL), continuously variable valve timing control system (CVTCS), micro-finished crankshaft & camshaft, small pitch silent cam chain, Nissan direct ignition system (NDIS), NISMO signature red engine cover, and drive-by-wire throttle. This engine is mated to a 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission with SynchroRev match. Power gets transferred to the rear wheels via a carbon fiber driveshaft connected to a viscous limited slip differential. Suspension upgrades include NISMO tuned 4-wheel independent multi-link suspension, NISMO tuned front/rear stabilizer bar, NISMO 3-point front strut tower brace, NISMO tuned shocks & springs, and NISMO tuned front & rear performance body dampers. Extra goodies include vehicle speed-sensitive power rack & pinion steering, power front & rear vented disc brakes with Nissan sport brake pads, NISMO tuned free flow dual exhaust with H-pipe configuration, and polished exhaust tips.
It is loaded with safety features like vehicle dynamic control (VDC) with traction control, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with brake assist (BA) & electronic brake force distribution (EBD), tire pressure monitor system (TPMS), driver & front passenger dual stage airbags with occupant classification sensor, side-impact airbags, curtain side-impact airbags, active head restraints, 3-point seat belts with pretensioners & load limiters, a child seat tether anchor, energy absorbing steering column, pipe-style side door beams, front & rear crumple zones, and driver knee bolster!
