I took my car in to get an oil change - thinking that they couldn`t really mess that up. Well, let me tell you, they CAN mess that up.

I went on a Saturday - because I needed to make a long drive on Sunday. On Sunday - I get in the car and start having problems right away. I am getting all sorts of error codes from the computer, but more importantly, I am having serious issues with power. I have none, in o... view morether words. I end up buying an airplane ticket to get to my destination, because I cannot trust my car to run. I live with the car like this for a week - looking on VW forums to see what could be causing the trouble, calling mechanics to see if they can fit me in, etc. Never thinking it could be from the oil change.

Well - I finally get to the mechanic (1 week later) - and they pop the hood and see that one of the air hoses has been disconnected. They connect it again, tell me ""no charge"" and I am on my merry way. They also tell me that there is no reason why this should have been disconnected unless the shop who did it was trying to get more work and money from me. Well, I think that is where we are. Either stupidly, or maliciously, they disconnected something very important and then ""forgot"" to reconnect it. They also gave me a list of things that absolutely needed to be replaced - with a quote of $1200 to do the work (including replacing a rear lamp - at a cost of $53. Went to the auto parts store and replaced it for $3 myself).

Do not trust these guys - even for something as simple as an oil change.

Great service

My son had a tire blow out on his way to work today. Made one call to Goodyear...They got him right in...Good prices and friendly staff! I would recommend doing business with them anytime!
