I went in for brake service on a budget, being a college student. They had a 15% off discount, and they were close, so I decided to give them a try. In the end, it cost me 400 dollars to have one rotor, half a set of pads, and one caliper replaced. When I asked why the caliper was replaced, I was basically told ""well you said it might be bad"". I was given the other half of the set of brake pads after paying and,... view more after seeing the price crossed out once on the receipt, decided to stop by Napa to check out the price. What they charged me 64.92 for, was a 41.99 pair of breaks. Also they charged me about 11 dollars for brake fluid and brake cleaner, which should have just been part of the job. Like they used a whole can a brake cleaner anyways. (A full can is $3, too). Given that data, I`m sure they fleeced me on the caliper and rotor, too. Knowing I was in a crunch, only being able to afford work on the bad rotor, they decided to make up for the 15% off labor on parts. I`ll go to Sterling next time. -C.
