2004 Bmw X5 3.0i Sport Utility 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Northfield, Massachusetts, United States
2004 BMW X5 with 3.0 I6 trim. Car is Alpine White with gray leather interior. Automatic with sport and semi manual mode. Front and rear A/C. Recently had new front brakes and rotors put in, as well as new rear brake pads, new front axles, and brand new battery. The SUV has the normal hi-fi audio system which I added a BMW factory auxiliary audio input to so any device can played through the stereo via the use of a headphone jack. Has 147XXX miles on it, a very large portion of which are highway. The car is not currently being used so mileage will not go up. It comes equipped with the tow package (and is very capable of pulling heavy loads) as well as the cold weather package that includes heated front seats and downhill descent control (which administers the brakes for you during the descent of a steep hill to limit slip during in-climate weather, and works very well) and rubber all weather mats. I am the third owner and have never had any major problems with the car during the years I've owned it. Perfect for the winter as it's absolutely fantastic in the snow, and got me everywhere I needed to go even in the middle of a blizzard. The interior is comfortable and very roomy, fits five people very comfortably and the rear seats fold down for even more cargo space making it very useful for transporting nearly anything you may need. Has the panoramic roof option, power everything, HID Halo headlights, and sun shades on the rear windows to keep the light and heat out. The car is in very good and clean shape with only a slight ding or scratch here or there, normal of any car this age. Car can be picked up locally or shipped wherever via a company of your choice. Serious bidders only, no returns. Please feel free to ask any questions and happy bidding.

BMW considering building 3 Series in North America
Sun, 13 Apr 2014There might be even more BMWs coming from North America soon. The company recently announced plans to build a flagship crossover called the X7 at its Spartanburg, SC, factory. Now, rumors are emerging that the Bavarians might be thinking about building a second North American factory that could build its quick-selling 3 Series.
According to Bloomberg, the German luxury giant is considering several possible locations for a North American factory, including two in Mexico, that may build the 3. "We will decide this in the next months. On the North American continent, there's still potential," said BMW production boss, Harald Krueger, in an interview meant for company staff obtained by Bloomberg.
If BMW decides to open a plant in Mexico, it would be following its rival Audi, which already announced construction of a factory there. Mercedes-Benz has been rumored to be working on a deal with Nissan to build its cars South of the Border as well. Rumors of Bimmer considering Mexican production have also cropped up in the past, so it wouldn't come as a total surprise to hear it made official.
Watch a trio of Santas ride up Mulholland Drive
Wed, 25 Dec 2013Santa Claus might have his eight reindeer - or nine, when it's foggy - to help him deliver presents in most parts of the world, but in southern California, it looks like he's traded up from Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and company to BMW, Yamaha and Ducati. RNickeyMouse is usually the place to check out spectacular motorcycle crashes on video along LA's Mulholland Drive, but a recent video caught a trio of Santas carving up the iconic, twisty road.
The three Santas are together, riding what appears to be a BMW S1000RR, Yamaha R1 and a hard-to-tell custom bike that could be a Ducati 1098. The video, which is posted below, also catches a bonus Santa riding solo on another S1000RR. Happy Christmas to all, and to all a cool bike!
Mini JCW Paceman vs. BMW M135i in family faceoff
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Over the last year, we've had the chance to drive two of the most exciting hatchbacks in the BMW family - the BMW M135i and the Mini Paceman John Cooper Works - but Autocar has managed to get the two corporate cousins together for a head-to-head comparison. Just like our initial impressions of the Paceman JCW, Autocar has little to complain about this new 215-horsepower hatchback... until it begins to factor in the faster, better-mannered and similarly priced M135i.
Despite laying down an extra 100 hp and delivering a 0-60 time that is almost two seconds quicker, the M135i carries the same price tag of 29,535 pounds in the UK; US pricing for the Paceman starts at $36,200, while it still isn't even clear if the US will be getting the M135i. Even more surprising is the fact that the Paceman falls short of the M135i in regards to rear seat and cargo volume, and just barely squeaks out a win in the fuel economy department. Scroll down to watch the BMW versus Mini hot hatch battle.
