This car is in A-1 Running condition. Nothing is wrong with it mechanically. Motor runs very strong. Transmission shifts perfectly fine. No slips or hard shifts at all. In perfect running condition. Has four new Michelin tires. All four rims are in great shape and all four center caps are on it too. It has all the bells and whistles. Heated front and rear seats. Adjustable power front and rear seats. All the windows work properly. Everything works. am/fm cassette, cd player. All the cigarette lighters. The electric folding blind on the back window works. cruise control works. power steering works perfect. The only thing I noticed is the dash pad just in the corner of the window where the a pillar connects to the dash it is just starting to rise up a little from the heat but a little glue and its fixed. Cadillac teases production ELR ahead of Detroit Auto Show
Tue, 18 Dec 2012General Motors has just confirmed that the 2014 Cadillac ELR will make its official debut next month at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. We've already seen the ELR testing earlier this year using the same range-extended electric drive system as the Chevrolet Volt, and based on the shadowy image above, we're happy to see that the coupe's styling has stayed pretty true to 2009 Converj Concept.
The two-door ELR will be built alongside the Volt at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck plant starting later next year. Aside from this info, Cadillac has remained tight-lipped on the specific details of the car. But all that will all change on January 15.

How GM's grueling 24-hour test gets the kinks out of its performance cars
Tue, 27 Aug 2013One of the biggest challenges automakers face when designing a high-performance car is making sure that it is both fast and reliable. For General Motors, any car that might be taken to the track by its owner - like the Corvette, Camaro Z/28 (shown above) and the Cadillac CTS-V, for example - undergoes a rigorous and strenuous 24-hour test by engineers at the Milford Proving Grounds, as pointed out by Car and Driver.
We've posted on this topic in the past - on a video showing the Camaro ZL1 being brutalized, for instance - but this article gives a more in-depth look at what actually happens behind the scenes... including what that poor ZL1 went through. Though the test isn't for 24 hours straight, the cars are pushed as hard as possible by some of GM's best drivers with only the brakes and tires replaced frequently.

2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Tue, 10 Dec 2013The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest.
