Up for auction is a solid 55 Chevy project. Another car I have been wanting came up for sale and one has to go.

Clean title, solid except two 2" spots on the floor and one spot in the trunk that something punctured (see pictures). This is a project that someone started and I picked up. Here is what's missing: rear window, side glass will need to be replaced, seats, rear bumper, engine and trans.

It has been jamed in yellow, dash, under hood and trunk is yellow.  It was in gray primer and he did a mist coat to protect it while he stored it.  I have two windshields, chrome to make it a 210 (pretty sure 2 of everything).  Two speedos.  I have a lot of chrome trim. Two driver quality grilles, buckes of interior handles and other chrome parts.  New door handles from Danchuk new signal lights and some trim screw sets. Front end has drop spindles, disk brakes and rear is lowered with lowering leafs. Doors are great, solid rockers and from what I can see everything else is solid.  Front fenders are solid, hood and trunk have been shaved. He was running a blown sbc, but kept the motor and trans.

Will not come with the tires and wheels pictures. Do not bid if you are outside the USA. I will cancel your bid and please don't bid if you have a buddy that lives in the USA and will pick it up. Must be paid for three days after the invoice has been sent and picked up 10 days after. If you have less then 10 feedbacks please email me first. No returns this is a project and you can not drive it, but is rolling for loading and unloading.  I can not ship and this will need to be picked up. No returns, no warranty and all sales are final.

Listed locally and I reserve the right to end early.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
