Hey guys what we have here is a 2003 Chevy Blazer Extreme with only 81,000 miles. Let me just start by telling you i am listing this for a friend. It is a chevy blazer extreme that is blue in color, that he bought for his son two years ago when it only had 61,000 miles on it. Since he his owned it he has done the following things to it. Lowered it with Belltech spindles, and springs, with nitro shocks. Put a set of 18" and 20" BOSS wheels with new tires. Knowing my buddy he just went and put new brakes, rotors and calibers on it while it was being lowered. 10,000 miles ago he had a complete built 4L60E transmission put in with new torque converter. It also has a new radiator, intake, battery, a complete a/c unit, and new bulbs all the way round. The outside has a cowl induction hood added which adds a good look to it. What the blazer needs is a new front spoiler it is cracked and scratched up, and a new motor for the sunroof. My buddy helped his son build this blazer like you see it now, he didn't cut no corners because it was his son and he wanted to have a reliable blazer for him. Now after two years his son is cutting grass and borrows his dad trucks almost everyday and it is time for him to buy his own truck. It is for sell locally so i might end the auction anyday. Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
