You are looking at a TRUE SS396 4speed Vehicle. The car was built in Canada. It had a total frame off restoration about 12 years ago. athe odometer was reset to O miles at that time. The engine is a correct casting number block (not vin # matching) that was completely rebuilt with a hydraulic cam, Eldebrock aluminum manifold, 750 CFm carburetor and HEI distrbutor. The transmission was also rebuilt. The exhaust sytem is ceramic coated headers and flowmaster mufflers and pipes.
As you can see on the attachments is the proof that the car is a true SS396.
The hold is fiberglass that is similar to an L88 corvette hood. I do have a brand new SS hood that goes with the car. The wheels are American Racing 15 x 8 with SS center caps.
Any questions please feel free to send an email and I'll response as soon as possible.
On Feb-24-13 at 11:00:23 PST, seller added the following information:
I'm having trouble attaching the documentation on the certification being a true SS vehicle. If you send me your email address, I'll send the document to you.
The radio is am-fm. Car originally came with am radio.
Thanks.

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette
Thu, 14 Feb 2013When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
