Good starting project here. 69 Nova Originally V-8 automatic mint green over green interior. Have a supposedly numbers matching (havent run numbers to verify) 307 small block nearly complete with the car. Car has no interior, body needs work. Not too bad, quarters could be patched in my opinion if you just want a nice driver. Has 10 bolt open rear end ( NON Posi). Subframe is good, frame rails on body are good, trunk needs replacing, gas tank is gone. Car rolls and steers, all four tires hold air so its easy to move around. Car has rust on upper cowl and in front of the windshield, also around trunk opening on quarters. It has its issues but is not a total basket case. Sorry about the pictures, I find its easier to just send you specific spots on the car you want to see. So if you are interested just shoot me a message and I will be glad to answer any questions or take any pics. Overall it's a good cheap 1969 Nova starter project with all tags and clear title. These like all cars from this era are getting harder and harder to find. Thanks.

Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
