1970 Nova SBC 350 4 bolt main, mild cam.  Balanced, nice running engine.  Not original motor.  New M22 4-speed transmission with new hurst linkage.
Factory power steering & power disc brakes in front. Drum brakes in rear.  Front end rebuilt with under 20 miles.  12 Bolt posi #CBS1208G2-E or #CBS1206G2-E (I am having a hard time reading the 4th number).  I believe this to be the original rear end to this car.  New dual exhaust & headers.  Sounds nice and quiet.  New weatherstripping, new front windshield (I broke old one taking it out).  75 paint code.  Interior is original except for the front seats and steering wheel.  There are no mechanical or rust issues with the car.  Floor pans are rust free and car retains original sheet metal except for drivers side front fender.  Car drives nice.  Everything works as it should and brakes smooth.  The only thing not hooked up is the windshield wiper squirters, but the wipers do work as they should.

I believe the car to be an original SS option car, but since it does not have the original engine and transmission, I am not selling it as one.  This is an original factory 4-speed car.  I have all of the receipts for the work that has been done to the car.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail and I will give you an honest response.  I am not trying to hide anything with this car.

This car is being sold in as is condition.  Shipping or pick up will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Have fun bidding.

Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
