THIS VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CONNETICUT STATE POLICE ,IT WAS USED AS A COMMUTER VEHICLE FOR OFFICIALS.THE MILES ARE HIGHWAY AQUIRED MAINLY. THE CAR IS SUPER CLEAN AND WAS VERY WELL MAINTAINED, I HAVE ALL OF THE SERVICE RECORDS AND ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL ,AND DOCUMENT OF CERTIFIED CALIBRATION AS WELL. THE EXTERIOR SHOWS VERY LITTLE WEAR ,REALLY JUST A FEW SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE ON THE BUMPER COVERS OTHER THEN THAT ITS PRETTY NICE ,THE PAINT IS REALLY GOOD THE BODY IS RUST FREE AS WELL AS THE UNDERCARRIGE AND FRAME.. THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT ,THE TRANS SHIFTS SMOOTH,THE 4WD WORKS WITH OUT ISSUE... THE TIRES ARE IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE AS WELL SHOWING ABOUT 70% TREADLIFE WITH MINIMAL PREMATURE WEAR.. THE INTERIOR IS REALLY CLEAN AND DAMAGE FREE THERE ARE A FEW SMALL HOLES IN FLOOR MAT FROM MOUNTED EQUIPMENT BUT NO HOLES IN DASH HEADLINER OR SEATS!!! THIS EXPEDITION IS REALLY A LOOKER THO IT WAS USED IN A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY YOU REALLY WOULD HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING AND THE CONDITION DOESNT REFLECT EITHER .. I HAVE HAD THESE CARS AS MY OWN NUMEROUS TIMES AND HAVE YET TO SEE AN ISSUE .. THEY ARE BUILT WELL AND BUILT TOUGH TO HANDLE ALL SORTS OF INCLIMENT WEATHER AND TERRAIN... 2015 Ford Mustang will tell authorities how you crashed and if you were belted [w/video]
Sat, 28 Jun 2014When the 2015 Ford Mustang hits dealers, it will be with a new batch of features that will power up Sync's 911 Assist feature, and provide an even greater degree of information to first responders in the event of an accident.
911 Assist will already make a phone call, via a Bluetooth-connected phone, should you bin your car. The automatic message to first responders is a pre-recorded blurb from Ford. With the new enhancements, though, emergency personnel can learn about the maximum change in velocity and whether the crash involved a front, rear, side or a rollover impact. 911 Assist will also send information about how many seat belts were in use and if airbags deployed, allowing more accurate dispatch of resources.
"Sync will only broadcast relevant information to save time, and it constructs a very efficient message for the operator," said David Hatton, the global project leader with Ford Connected Services. "After the introductory message, the voice line opens automatically and occupants can speak directly with the operator via Sync's hands-free functionality."

Ford recalling 205k Edge and Lincoln MKX units for possible corrosion

For those readers in much of the country, the snow is going to be flying soon, and with it comes salt on the roads. That means Ford's regional recall for the 2007-2008 Edge and Lincoln MKX arrives at the perfect time because they are at risk for corrosion.
The campaign covers 204,448 examples of the models in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia and some provinces of Canada. In total there are 186,024 vehicles in need of repair in the US and 18,424 in Canada.
According to Ford, it's possible for the area, "under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" to corrode. If this happens, there might be a gas smell in the vehicle or even a fuel leak could develop. In fact, the automaker reports that one fire could be related to the problem but no injuries or accidents are reported.
