The 1982 Fairmont Futura has a 351 Cleveland with 4 barrel heads. It is bored, balanced, and blueprinted with a Comp Cam and lifters. It has a Holley Street Dominator Intake Manifold with a Holley 780 carb, new electronic distributor, new water pump and radiator, new Performance Exhaust System, and a cold air induction system. New shocks and struts, new brakes, 8 matching rims. The Transmission is out if a Crown Vic Police Car and has a Trans-Go shift kit and heavy duty clutches and a 2200 rpm convertor. The rear is out of a 1986 Mustang GT with a posi and new 3:55 gears. I am the original owner and ordered the car from Ford with power steering, power brakes, power windows, cruise control, bucket seats and console with floor shifter, it has aluminium bumpers for light weight , and Police Interceptor Handling Package. The car weighs in at about 2800 lbs and the motor has about 350 hp. I have all the original paperwork from Ford with the original sales brochure. The car has never been in an accident has all original sheet metal and has been garage kept since new. It makes a great Street Sleeper and gets decent gas mileage [ 20 plus on the highway ] if you can stay off the loud pedal. The car is real fun to drive and handles great.

Ford of Europe celebrates Mondeo's 20th anniversary
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford's European operations are celebrating a milestone of sorts as the Mondeo, the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter D-segment sedan in the old country, celebrates its 20th anniversary. The mid-sizer, which was sold in the US for a short time as the Contour, has been a far more popular vehicle in Europe - even receiving regular praise from one Jeremy Clarkson.
Narrated by Cockney actor Ray Winstone, the video goes through the Mondeo's years and how it's evolved from 1993 to the as-yet-unreleased fifth-generation model, which is essentially the same as the Ford Fusion that's sold in America. Take a look below for the full video from Ford of Europe.
Forza Horizon announces January Recaro Car Pack with LFA N"urburgring Edition

Ford jumps back in the water with marinized 6.2L V8
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Nameplates like the Mercury Mariner and Lincoln Navigator aside, Ford hasn't offered a marine engine in over two decades. But through a new partnership with one of the biggest names in the business, the Dearborn-based automaker is dipping its proverbial toes back in the water.
Announced yesterday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the new partnership between Ford Component Sales and Indmar Marine Engines will see the 6.2-liter V8 from the F-150 SVT Raptor and F-Series Super Duty marinized for use in boats.
The largest privately owned inboard gasoline marine engine manufacturer in the world, Indmar has been in the business for 43 years, and figures the Ford V8 will be just what watersport enthusiasts are looking for to tow waterskiers and wakeboarders to their hearts' content.
